Rnd 2 - North v South @ Prospect (Sat 31/3)

Postby Wedgie » Mon Mar 26, 2012 6:10 pm

North's opener but South will be keen to atone for their 2nd half capitulation against West in their Round 1 match.
Will North be a bit underdone?

totally up in the air for me. South normally start the season well (in previous seasons anyway) and with North you just never know. with indifferent pre season form from North (that is an optomistic description, if it was just on the Norwood trial it would be bad) they could do anything.

hoping for a win, but to be honest i am just glad that SANFL footy is back, and i will be there. either way i predict that i will be drunk by half time ;)

From the ins and Outs thread

darley16 wrote:Rumour down south that Mitch Sandery spoken to Ron Fuller about returning to SAFC which terms have been agreed upon. Hope so, we miss his presence and experience in the backline.

If Mitch does return is he able to play this week either in the 2's or League side? I believe at the end of last season he still had 1 game to serve of his suspension in the Elimination final?

Better looking South side than last week, like DeVisser and Brown if selected but bugger all experience at this level, however both have strong bodies and run hard at it. Always play better when McKernan plays CHF and Thewlis back is excellent news. Hard game to pick, Roosters at home could be too much for South's inexperienced side.
