One of my favourite players now. His courage and effort is as good as anyone. His work rate is as good as anyone's and his disposal is getting seriously better

Ill agree with that may have been a little harsh on him. Wish we had big Kel Moore back & fit I really rated him the year before his injury, doubt he will ever get back to that level though.

Coverking do you think we can get Conners back to what he was or a bit of a lost cause now?

Moore has been running for about 6-8 weeks and is doing most stuff with the main group. He will play for coburgs reserves in about a month. The story I read he reckons it was the first time in years that he can sprint pain free And I know the question wasnt addressed to me but FWIW I really rate Connors. IF he gets his head right could be anything

Connors could be a big key to us. If we can get him back up and firing, it would release Deledio soley into the midfield/forward role. Connors, houli, Newman, Ellis and Morris to be the smaller defenders/wingman.

I rate Connors and I reckon this is his test. Read an article about his change of attitude. If he can get on the park consistently, he will be like a new recruit for us. Really looking forward to seeing how he goes this year!

Whats your thoughts on him?

Yep im with you guys I think if he can get himself right he will be a huge plus to our team. Could be one of the better Half Backs in the comp if he is on, just a matter of him getting it right.
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

Disagree. Played his last year under duress, wait till/ if he gets fit again. With Rance up and about, Moore can stand the second or third forward, which is a role that suits him a lot better. Think you might be surprised
Still thats one thing we have over the cats, more duds

LOL but now you mentioned him. Moore will be a bloody handy third tall (behind rance and grimes) if he can get back to his best and full fitness. He was starting to come pretty good for us until the injuries hit him. For what its worth, i dont think he will play another 20 AFL games for Richmond. Reckon injuries may have caught up with him unfortunately.

Good luck to Stevey Morris tonight. Hope he has a blinder because there arent many better blokes than him in the football world.

I would have Moore in my side every day of the week, and I think Connors is in our best 22 (and could be a genuine star) as well but he's got a bit of work to do to overtake Newman, Houli, Conca, Ellis etc for his spot.

Like I said in an earlier post though, if we're to be genuine, blokes like Miller, A. Maric, Edwards can't be getting consistent games or we're not going to be good enough.

FWIW, my best side:

B: Morris, Rance, Moore
HB: Houli, Post, Morris
C: Deledio, Martin, Grigg
HF: Ellis, Vickery, Foley
F: King, Riewoldt, Nahas

R: I. Maric, Cotchin, Jackson

Int: Tuck, Conca, Connors, Astbury

Grimes, Batchelor, Derickx, McGuane unlucky

Forgot about Helbig, in that just outside list with Batchelor etc. Trying to compete with King and Nahas for a spot as a small forward. Nason was also involved in that fight last year. As he gets bigger in the body and a bigger tank I'm sure he'll get more consistent time in the midfield with Coburg and push guys like Tuck out of a spot over time.

Richmond season 2012

Gee whiz. Would've thought that the tigers would've won seeing as though we are injury depleted. Oh well. Richmond destined for mediocrity again.

Umpiring seriously influenced that end to the game. I dont think we were going to win, but when we had massive momentum (carlton had just answered to go 12 points ahead), and then yarran kicks the goal to go 18 ahead, after CLEARLY running out of bounds and the umpire in perfect position. That was the match there and then!
