LM what odds can i get on Al Hewitt to bowl more than 25 overs in their innings. Nothing surer than Gav will stick with what he trusts and Al is his man.

I reckon you would get about $1.02 tops.

For the record, Al Hewitt 0/22 off 18 overs straight. Bowled very tidily in good areas beating the bat often but when wickets were imperative with still 10 in the shed a change had to be made. Hewy's been a gun bowler for us over the past two seasons but the skip made the right call. ;)

Whose in bat?

You would think anything over 150 would be pretty tough to chase down. Considering its a GF and being on the notouriously slow Craigmore Oval.

Runs on the board count for a lot in a GF so 152 all out with 70 overs tomorrow if required leaves the game in the balance...possibly swaying towards the Blue boys favour?

Just to keep you updated WHUFC, ATCO all out for 152 with CCC to face 1 over.
Got a grade 1 score please.

Salisbury West 9/207 or 209?

Will be a tough chase for both sides especially Craigmore, is the outfield as slow as it has been all year?

Slightly off topic but i understand why it happens and have no problems with it im just not a big fan of a team having to go out and bat for one over at the end of the day. It seems like such a big disadvantage to the side who has prospered by bowling the opposition out.

To be honest in SW case if it was their 10 and 11 out there batting they would have been better off having 1 over at R&C then batting the over out for say 1-2 runs.

The game traditionally favours the side who bats first enough as it is, would nice to see it some how evened up.

It's the risk you take of getting that last wicket. The daylight isn't that much worse generally, it's all in the head.
When I was a half decent player I used to thrive on the opportunity to bowl just a few overs before stumps, you could give it all and have a weeks rest.

Yeah runs on the board count for 5hite loads, personally i think Atco would be slighlty ahead especially if the oval is as slow as it has been all year. Though i would prefer to see Dyl Mac and Big Al win a premiership so come on the Blue Boys.

Thats my entire point. Why should taking the last wicket be a risk, isnt that the object of when a side fields.
