Why has there been no talk of the match between Reynella and M/Vale. It is the GF rematch from the past 2 years. Reynella may have lost a couple of players but they have beaten the emus in round 1 the past 2 years. Traditionally these regular season matches go down to the wire. Reckon it could be a good day with hopefully a big crowd.

I would take Morphett Vale at $3 and then doube it up for next year!!! By far the best side in the comp and will be playing that last round in sept for many years to come!!! My prediction is big but i think fair... Morphett Vale to win at least 7 in a row maybe more!!!! What odds could i get for that???

Ok i've set up a rough footy tipping comp for the Southern League. Just for fun

http://southernfootball.tripod.com/sflround1.html

I can update the page each week but would appreciate it if someone could put their hand up to record the tips that will be sent via email from participants into an excel speadsheet (Junior? ). I just don't have the time to do it all.

Noticed that a Shane Mitchell bobbed up in Macclesfield's side last week in HFL ranks. Is this the much travelled trouble maker who I reckon has just about played in every country league in close proximity to Adelaide, and also has left with a somewhat tarnished reputation? To the SFL experts, are Noarlunga any chance of going places this year, given the influx of Hills recruits. Wot about Flaggies, beaten last week by Mt Barker, who didn't score a goal in second half, and tipped to be in bottom group of Hills comp?
