My understanding is bad weather prevented the lights being tested the other night. It still hasn't been confirmed they're ready to go for tomorrow night.

That is wrong EHL. The lights were tested last night and the players trained under them tonight.

They are working.

If they're not ready to go tonight, then why are we playing tonight at Thebby then? It has been confirmed that we are playing tonight.

Adam Grocke said on the RPH League Teams Show last night that the lights are fine and they did in fact train at Thebby under them last night.

The original plan was that they were going to be tested Tue night but due to the bad weather that didn't happen. I am just glad that everything worked out well and I am looking forward to seeing the first game played under lights for premiership points at Thebby.

This game should be an absolute cracker and a fantastic way to kick off 2012. Thea Eagles hold the recent advantage winning the last 7 by an average of 21 points. Port however have the only win at Thebby and have also won the last 3 clashes played in round 1 of the season. Both sides look good on paper. The Eagles will be hoping to kick the season off with a win to show there is no premiership hangover.

My Tip: Eagles 17 points
