Well done to WYC and Coromandel on a great tight tense final !! Could have gone either way and Bloods you could have caused a few heart attacks the way you batted at the end ;) . Loved the way Coro came out batting aggressively at the start of their innings and showed great fight yesterday. Did your club proud !

Luders to open the bowling this week ??

Without doubt the best game of cricket I've been involved in! It may not of been high scoring but it had everything from individual pieces of brilliance to stunning fightbacks. Obviously we're shattered by the result but cricket was a real winner!!
For those who thought Coro were making up the numbers perhaps ask the WYC boys how much their svinkters were twitching. It was a thrilling finish witnessed by a very noisy crowd.
Thought Luders and Max Cheek were the stars of the match for each side with great bowling spells and good cameos with the willow. That catch was something that ive never seen before by SOTY. Had to be seen to be believed. Nice little story to go with the black eye ;)

Goodluck to WYC and PFCC this week. Tipping Plympton by 4 wickets if they can handle some good bouncers every 2nd ball :)

And yes, I'll eat my words. I had Plympton finishing bottom at the start of the year. Shows how even section 1 has been this season. Credit to them and none to my cricketing knowledge :(

Didn't you have ICC simply because you couldn't remember the 12th side?

Yeah no doubt there were a few heart in hand moments. Just keeping the crowd on their feet    .

I think that is the best all round bowling performance we have come up against this year. All 4 guys who bowled did so terrificly well and at no stage did we look or feel comfortable at the crease. A real credit to those 4 Coro boys.

There was really only one partnership of note throughout the game and that in itself ensure no team remained 'on top' for any great length of time.

One of the best finals i have participated in, if not the best.

It will be, especially with the low results that Sheidow Park provided during the year in the lower grades

If they win it won't matter what they say they will be going up.
