Getting to work and no one had keys, so while waiting for someone to let us in, played cricket in the carpark for an hour :D

Dont rate having to catch up on the hour of phone messages and emails though...

That's quite funny you should mention Media Park and Port Lincoln. I'm over here for work and went to have some dinner and a couple of drinks at the Port Lincoln Hotel and actually bumped into the man himself. Seems like a top bloke and was good to meet a fellow porter in this neck of the woods. Mice to meet you MP.

Yep that was me... the girl who looked like she'd walked through a wind tunnel, and was carrying too many bags for a person who was only there for the day :?

I spent the whole time in Lincoln thinking "I wonder if that was MP" (haha)... so when i saw you in the shop i thought i was really losing it... i only thought it actually was you because of when you mentioned ages ago that you look like that english cricketer :D

Ps, i love the camera... it's amazing!!! (but i don't think a tiny sony cybershot is really the type of camera they're looking for in the 'Camera' thread 8) )

My wifes Grandma passed away about 2 years ago. We had a visit today whilst I was home for lunch from an employee of the Nursing Home she spent her last years at. Apparently, Grandma had bought us a present and given it to this staff member to give to us when we have our first child as she knew she wouldn't be around for it.
Obviously, brought tears to my wife's eyes, and mine were pretty damn close to being wet as well which doesn't happen too often.
If you don't like it, change it. If you don't want to change it, it can't be that bad!

Life can move in such wonderful circles, the phrase "it's the thought that counts" is very under-rated nowadays.

Fantastic story mate.

My Great Aunt who was basically my only grandparent ( as they had all passed away before I was born ) was gravely ill when my wife was pregnant with our second child. A very touching moment I'll never forget was my Aunty Yvonne, only days before she passed away and about 3 weeks before Chloe was born, rubbing my wifes stomach and telling us "It's a girl, a beautiful little girl coming into the world to take my place". She died a few days later and I know, it was a 50/50 chance she got it right but something we will never forget.

Brilliant story mate and the lady whom delivered the gift must be someone pretty special too.
