Agree with Jim, batting is easier now, just as bowling (particularly seam bowling) was easier then.

No matter in which order you have Ponting, Lara or Tendulkar amongst the greats, Bradman is number one.

I just think it is very appropriate that he got the hundred in a meaningless one-dayer against Bangladesh.

Agreed.

I never remember anyone saying "Wow, Warne/Murali/whoever just got their 1000th international wicket.

Stupid stupid stat. Who combines different forms of the game for statistics?

Morons.

Im sure he could be the first guy to hit 1,000 fours or face a million balls, pretty sure the Indians will invent some other lame record for him to pass

For all his records he still hasnt made a triple century.
Highest score of 248*, for all the flat tracks and small grounds he plays on you would think he would of had a biggie, one of the reasons why I rate Lara best of the modern day

Can't believe the lack of love for Tendulkar on here. Is an absolute champion and has nothing to prove. Has done it against some of the best bowlers in the game in different formats in different continents.

100 international hundreds is an incredible achievement and something worth noting.

But is it worth all this song and dance the media have been banging on about?
