Cheers to the Woody South FC for our trial today. The game was played in great spirit.

Best of luck for this season!

Just some quick info as I don't think this has been mentioned.

I passed by Ovingham on Friday night and though it was a quick drive by I def saw T Hillman wearing a Blackfriars geurnsey. Dunno if he has committed but there were rumours of course that he and brother Brad were on the move elsewhere.

when i spoke to Brad a while back he said Trav was very keen to play at Blacks next season however Brad also said he wasn't sure whether he himself wanted to play footy this season.. big loss for blacks if he decides not to play footy!

As did Woodville South. Names such as Clifford, Cattermole, Skewes, Stubberfield and Rayner. So definitlely some class to come back in to the side. As well as the big ruck man was playing his first game of footy for a few years..

It was a good hit out none the less played at a very good intensity and skill level was pretty high for a trial. On the game itself HV dominated the opening quarter stacking on 5 unanswered goals. They were winning the ball out the centre and around the ground. 2nd quarter saw a bit of a fight back with HV kicking 3 to 1. Clearances were even.. The second half it seemed like a totally different Woodville south outfit they come out hungry and showed a lot of heart. All in all a very good start to the year only going down by 2 goals.. Lots of positives to build from and the guys can only benefit from getting the run in there legs..

Thanks to Hope Valley for a hard fought, good game of football and best of luck for the upcoming season.

This is confirmed. I've been telling you guys for weeks don't let carey fool you by his constant talking about other clubs (MLFC in particular) and their recruiting because it just aint true. Carey has recruited more than GWS over the off season, just keep watching the clearances list in the coming weeks and now he's finsihed with cricket this is only the beginning ;)

Confirmed? You idiot..... If its confirmed can someone please tell the coach.

This is a clear attempt and a poor one at that to deflect attention from Mawson Lakes.

They have that many numbers i watched there C grade yesterday they had 8 on the bence and 8 blokes did'nt get a game at all!

Hope valley looked very very good. Although not as good as the Hope Valley women ;) That was of the highest quaility

I'm sure Woody Sth must've had a heap out. I seen Catters holding the board for Bomber and Stubby just kicking back did'nt see Rayner at all sure there would be more so i would'nt read to much in to the score line

In other breaking div6 news I was flicking through my local council minutes of there last meeting and could'nt help but notice a million dollar development to be built in the Mawson lakes area. So I read on and sure enough noticed it was for the Mawson Lakes football club complete with new clubrooms, grandstand, Swimming pool and training facilties.

And to think you guys thought i was joking when i said this great man is only on step 3 of his plan for world domination.

I can only assume it will be called "Riddle Reserve"
