He has had a good NAB campaign to date with 81 DT points per 100minutes played and received a 10% discount on his price this year because of the Injury time last year.

So he would be reasonable value and make some early cash if he keeps it up or even maybe a Def 7.

My worry with Lake and Hargrave is although they have done well, with Williams going down it will affect one or maybe both depending upon match ups as they have to take on a more negating role to cover the loss.

Although I am not a crows fan, I am buoyed by the early form of Porplyzia, Callinan & Dangerfield.
Wondering with the crows first 3 games whether it would be crazy to have all 3?

Yes I am worried about that to I never have had Crows players except maybe Thompson as an upgrade later in the year. But currently have two of the three and also through in young Kerridge. Calinan is vastly different in price in SC to DT so I have him in one but not the other. Three Crows though running around my forward lines? :?

Dangerfield killed me last season, he'd score 130 then back it up with a 30, Porpoise is one good bump or tackle away from being injured, he wont lay too many tackles either, Callinan on the other hand was unlucky last season, could be a fair scorer.

Unlike Lightning, I reckon that Dangerfield will do well this season and reduce the amount of clearances, or at least the statistical dominance in clearances that Scotty Thompson had in previous seasons. I think Thompson won't record the scores he did last season and that better upgrade targets might be available.

I reckon patty will be more consistent this year in the guts and with a coach who will give more confidence in him to run a muck. Could be his year, just like douglas a couple seasons back. Porps is a hrad one to give a go to, is not a high scorer, but if cheap not a bad option to have on the bench and just build up in price. callinan i like, is quality and if given the chance will porove his worth no doubt about it.

What's the word on Hargrave & Lake?? Both previous high scorers at bargain basement prices, but with reasonable injury concerns. Haven't heard much about either over the pre-season....

I'll be having a dip on Lake also keen on Hargrave but don't want the two Bullies in my backline.

Agree with this. Reckon we'll see Thompson's dominance in the Adelaide midfield reduce as blokes like Dangerfield & Sloane start to get their fair share.

Hargrave and lake are in my supercoach side, they are hit and miss though, but non the less are experienced players and if get up and going can make some good scores, even if they are avergaging 80 a week, still make some profit.

Perhaps more time in the guts will see Rodney score more consistently, he just really pissed me off last season as he had some horrible weeks.
Probably couldn't understand Craigy's instructions.

Speaking of Hargrave and Lake and the injured Williams, I am actually looking at Howard who has had plenty of game time scoring well and being used as a sweeper by the Dogs in the NAB.

The other backline dilemma I have is the high scoring of Brisbane defenders this NAB Adcock, Hanley, Hawksley and Golby are smashing out big scores and even Maguire has a handy average.
