Yeah but they made out it was the woman was the one who instigated it. Redder is the one who made this happen.

As long as Ernie got the telly, who cares who instigated it, but well done Redder.

Channel Nine wanted to fly me and Ernie over for the first show last night. Disappointingly Ernie is not that well, has never flown in a plane and despite some encouragement emphatically declined.
Footy show decided no Ernie no go. I was a bit disappointed in the way it turned out to be handed as they used the photo of Ernie I sent them after I organised the purchase and delivery and installation for Ernie. They made it sound as though the winners of the comp were the hero. Sure they paid for the TV but they sure took a lot of letters and emails to get them to act.

Perhaps not that disappointing (that he didn't go). The presenters of the footy show strike me as the sort of arseholes who would have exploited Ernie's presence by drumming up some cheap laughs at his expense.

Nevertheless Ernie has his telly, so kudos to the show and competition winners for doing the right thing, and thumbs up to yourself and all others who kept the pressure on to see that it happened.

Very heart-warming stuff, I used to sit near Ernie 30 years ago hearing his "Go Woodville, go Woodville", he was a legend back then and it's great to hear the legend continues.
