Yes huge loss for Victor but if they want him then he has to have a crack. Given the footy he has played for us I found it hard to fathom how he didn't really make it at North.

Messes Victor's planning for the year up big time though given the timing.

Always the case that someone is a very good player until they leave your club! . T Brown leaves a huge hole for Victor, good luck to him though, his best is good enough.

I don't know what the story is, but it ain't points - Perry was zero points for Yank from day one through the crack in the points system letting SANFL overage under 18s in. Will be 3 points for VH.

IIRC he is a left footed whippet who cut us up running out of the backline in the final over at Yank last year.

The Bays are fairing very well in the INS department and should be the biggest mover outside the 5 if all comes to fruition.
Compass and Strath look to have been pillaged...?

Also see Josh Hicks going back to Compass this year. Wish him all the best, he had an outstanding year last season and will be a big loss for us.

Grant Brown can kick a football a country mile but not huge on the hard ball gets, get his head right and he'll kick goals. Both have historically been regular B'Graders who might finally be wanting to play a'grasde properly...

If you want to keep jack excited just talk about Modra.... ;)

Good on the bays for backing in their new coach and signings. AS Johnny said they cant but improve on last year altho they did roll us mid year, so lets hope for our sake they dont improve too much!

First trial for us this weekend. Looking forward to getting back out there for a kick and a catch again. Fair few boys get a chance this weekend at Willunga due to cricket, work and other commitments!

Matty Thomas will thrive at his new club in the amateur league. Last year he just couldnt get to training often enough due to work commitments. He gave the club magnificent service, being involved in many premierships and certainly owes us nothing. A gun bloke on and off the field and will be missed :'(

Strath has mt lofty on the 24th and motlops meningie boys on the 31st. Have never played meningie will be interesting to see how they are shaping up under there new coach. Pity mcleod won't be playing trial games.
Braidwood leaving compass is another big loss they couldn't afford, looks like they will be the sliders. How is the mccard issue going 'Lf' has he been out training with you boys? I now am up to date with his subs issues haha  Haven't heard any other goss around the traps sorry 'bj'.

Mccard has a contract with us but also has a contract with Christie's. Theirs is signed and dated prior to ours so legally they hold all the cards. We signed him thinking he was cleared to christies but not contracted. He has however been training with us for 6 weeks and played the internal trial. Has told them his intentions but won't release at this stage.

Think someone mentioned Harvey earlier. No worries with that clearance. We submitted, bays ok'd and the secretary just needs to click the approved button to update sporting pulse.
You can love football, but it wont always love you back!

With Clipsal closing in Strath will this mean that the sponsorship dollars for the footy club dry up and see the side slide down the ladder?

I think you will find Terramin mines are a good sponsor at Strath.
