Interesting to see how many of these in's play a grade. AL have 15 ins and i can assure you two thirds of these players will not play an a grade match.

is this similar at other clubs?

100% of our 1 recruit will play in our A grade.

What about the gun CHF you've apparently recruited from Div 1?

He'd be a fair chance I guess. Didn't know his clearance had registered yet.

Time to stir the pot as it is getting very close to the season proper. A true Lodge poster will talk up the club (and themself) like there is no tomorrow so that is what I am going to do

There will not be a Brahma Lodge Tigers competing in Division 5 2012, they have merged and have now become the Eastern Lodge Donnie Rams with a few decent recruits (on MASSIVE pay packets) from Eastern Park, Willaston and Gepps Cross. This is disappointing because nobody else in the division pays players but that aside I would expect to see the Eastern Lodge Donnie Rams take the flag and go undefeated all season. It was also supposed to be Brahma Lodges 50th year but it looks as though they will struggle to ever make a 50th year now with this merger

I would expect them to go undefeated in 2012 with these recruits but with the loss of S.McIntyre who will step up to the plate and kick the bags of goals he used to do each Saturday. Well I am about to reveal the secret weapon that has been kept under wraps for the whole pre season, S Cosenza will be the Rams new full forward, every defenders (and D Asinari's as he will surpass his goal tally in one season no doubt) worse nightmare will finally get to show his true talent in his true position! Watch this man come Saturdays, he is one massive unit and I can't see him kicking less than 10 goals a game

On a more serious note, The Lodge have recruited fairly well IMO. They have also lost their fair share but hopefully have made up for those plus more with the recruits we have brought in. Training over the past 2 weeks has seen the numbers rise with the cricketers joining in after their training. It is a real good feel around the club and everyone is firing to go for the first trial game next Saturday. To be honest anything will be better than last seasons performances, to finish 8th and just scrape out of relegation, The Lodge will obviously be striving for the ultimate prize but will be very happy to just play finals football.

I have to agree with everyone else’s prediction with North Haven and Adelaide Lutheran 1 and 2 (in any order) given the recruiting they have done and then expect the rest of the pack to fight it out for the remaining 3 spots. After being involved in last season with the unexpected occurring almost every week I am not prepared to write off any team. Here is to hoping for another tight season like last year and that The Lodge take the ultimate prize in the 50th year of the club.

Goodluck to all
Hope it was a good read!

Latest INS and OUTS tally. I've done the players names from each club, but I'll wait another week and update them again before I post them on here...
