Shit.

Even my kids struggled through it.

At one stage I was hoping the Elephant Seal would eat the ******* penguin, and then take his colony to where the trapped penguins were, and set them free, and then eat them too.....but alas Elephant Seals don't eat penguins.

Crap story line. The krill sections were crap, and generally just a crap kids movie, and a even crappier adults movie.

Every comedy I see John C. Reilly in, I really want him to be funny.

I Love You Phillip Morris

Ok, so going into this movie I didnt know what it was about. And considering it has Jim Carey in it, I thought it would be a light hearted comedy. But alas I was wrong. In fact, it is a very graphic look into the life of a homosexual conman. (yes I know, it still sounds like it would be piss funny, but no)

Its the true story of Steven Somebody who is a married police officer, who has been living a double life, because hes been gay for as long as he can remember. One night has a major car accident, and realises hes not living the life he should be. He packs up and moves to Florida to live as the flambouyant gay man he is.

He starts conning people and businesses, and eventually gets caught. In jail he meets another gay man named Phillip Morris (Ewen McGregor).

Ok, so far the movies been ok...the graphic gay sex scenes werent my thing, but i could handle them...but then all the soppy crap crept into the movie and I lost interest and went to sleep. My GF watched the whole thing and said that she couldnt tell if it was supposed to be a drama or a comedy, because it was a drama, but it had Jim Carey, and it just felt weird...

Anyway, I asked her how many rubber chickens she gave it out of 5 and she said 1.5...and i tend to agree...it could have been good, but it was just weird.

im pissed off coz i didnt get to sleep till like 12, she actually fell asleep before the end and i didnt notice and i watched it all... secretly hoping for another nude scene

but yeah tired as hell today because of it
