TTG have a fine record in the shorter version of the game. The loss of Davey for them and the gain of Crosthwaite for the Eagles could have a bearing. The Eagles are likely to be without James Smith, Callum Ferguson, Aidan Blzzard, Peter George and Warrick Stanborough but will certainly be competitive.

With Ferg not named for the SA side to play Queensland, is he a silly chance to be available? Could his thumb possibly get through one day but not four?

How bad was that last decision to give Cullen lbw. Hit him nearly above the thighpad. Terrible umpiring.

Was great to see Travis Head get the MOTM award.

Congratulations to the Bulls on their win.
After being 1/80 after 14 overs chasing 174 we really should have coasted to a win. However, the Bulls really outplayed us from that point on and thoroughly deserved their win. Matthew Weaver and Tim Cronin bowled superbly. Yes, there were a few stinkers of decisions given but we should never have got us into the position that one or two decisions could concern us.
Anyway, now onto the two-day comp and hoping that our batting shows a bit more resilience.
Cheers

Torrens really needed one of J.Smith or Crosthwaite to go on and post a reasonable score after getting mid-20's. It was a good effort by the Eagles bowlers to restrict TTG to 174 after it was looking like posting over 200 at the half way mark of their innings. An even better effort from TTG bowlers after the Eagles were cruising at 1/80. One that got away! Hopefully it makes the boys even more determined to make the most of the 2-day finals. Need a couple of the batsman to take the game by the scruff of the neck like Wes Thomas did when they last won one.

SACA wrap up.

Andrew Frick's in Port Lincoln. Younger brother Alex bowled well in tandem with Trent Pascoe (6/66) according to my contact down at Christie's. Frick got Tanner who was always going to be the key if Southern got the total. Joraslafsky added another 1 in a short second inning to finish with 8 for the match.

Hopefully you are talking about Mickan being absolutely plumb first ball. Disappointed, saying congratualtions and then talking about poor umpiring. I suggest all those that think Cullen was not out book a optomotrist appointment this week, from the Bulls lads, hitting middle half way up. Anyway winners can smile, losers can do whatever they like. Probably bottom line is that TTG put the squeeze on and you were unable to handle it - finals do that.

I was there as a neutral supporter and Mickan definitely looked out first ball. But Cullen was no way close to hitting half way up middle. Hit him in the thighpad and there is no arguing that. Runs on the board mean so much in finals, and this is no greater example. Cronin and Weaver Bowled extremely well in the middle to late overs. After missing out with the bat, weaver definitely performed as captain, great work by the bulls

Gee, you make a comment re TTG deserving the win and the fact that we can only blame ourselves for the loss, plus the great bowling by Cronin and Weaver and you get sledged!!!
Must have been one of those TTG boys in the Bradman Stand whose behaviour was appalling all night.
Once again, congratulations to the Bulls on the win. As stated BEFORE, thoroughly deserved!!

Must agree with coverking. Had torrens held their catches, dropping head twice on 33 then 43 game would've shifted. Cronin and weaver bowled extremely well. Well bowled Peter George aswell, kept torrens in the game with his 4wickets.
But what a catch by the 1st slipper for torrens... Absolute ripper.
The downside was the pissed idiot/s in the bradman stand who felt the need to continually drop f bombs and tell crosswaite what he thought of him. Bad by security who did nothing about it.
Looking from the stand was there some animosity between croswaite and TTG? Looked like some sledging was going on out there.
Congrats to TTG on the double t20 and one day comps.
