Chuck him in a team with a good bowling team where all the pressure isn't on him he would stand out greater

I think Clarke from rose Park would be up there.

I agree with Gully Being a very good bowler who would benifet no end being in a better side.

My point is as an opposition capt. i tell our blokes see Gully off and the rest are POO. Although Boxhead took Gully for about 35-40 runs off 3 overs

I also think right across the board the better the batsmen you bowl to the better you bowl especially in Gullys case.

My Interpretation was it was a majority thing where you'd played a majority of your games. But if all you teams are in finals what does it matter?

What is all the talk about permits? Have i missed something? Surely the guys who were good enough to get you to the finals should be good enough to win it for you?

I might be new to the game but I always thought that once u past the other team u have enough runs?

I was told last night about some of the sledging you copped. Did u get told that you were not going to have this much luck in the 2nd Innings after you had won the game? Bit funny considering there was never going to be one!

Noel Craig diamond duck easily the highlight of my season. I'm shocked he kept it quiet last night when i was giving him a belting at fifa.. His diamond duck is surely the biggest tragedy to the cricketing world since bradman walked out for his duck in his last innings..

I'm glad you interrupted Typo, because my interpretation of the interruption was confusing the living **** outta me and I'm pretty sure i NEEDED an interpreter to interpret the interruption! Or was that the interpretation..?!? :? ****** if I know!?

Anyway, I'll be very interested to see how the Association reacts to this gross act of treachery & betrayal. I must have been playing the wrong Division all along, because the stakes and rewards seem to be much higher in D Grade.

By the way Noel, I've managed to rack up 2 diamonds across my cricketing days. Once after sitting with the pads on for 2.5-3hrs & watching a 150 run stand. Went out & striker clubbed one back first ball of our 'partnership', bowler got a finger on it & onto the stumps & I'd backed up too far. The first one was being a smart arse in U14's, walking a single off a leg bye in the first over. Fine leg threw it in, I went to slide my bat in, got it stuck in a crack in the pitch, OUT! My old man (coach) gave me a huge bake.

So run that first one hard..............but only when there's one in it.. ;)

In other news... it is good to see the Lutheran domination of this association continue, with 4 of the 8 Grand Finalists coming from Lutheran clubs, with at least one premiership guaranteed.
This is after Lutheran teams have won 18 of the last 21 A-Grade Grand Finals.
John Olsen, June 2012 wrote:"Reserves teams in the SANFL for the two AFL clubs is not negotiable.
We will not compromise the SANFL competition (with AFL reserves teams)."
