where is Joe Mennie today? and QL missing cutting, swan and broad? Its bloody hard to find injury info regarding first class cricket. Hopefully next season teams will be looking at improving media relations and reasons for particular selections i.e Harris as the states number 7. To me, as a consumer of cricket, i feel like we get sweet **** all.

Mennie illness I think. Food poisoning, not Injury. So Harris came in. Odd swap

I think Harris was on standby for one of the batsmen who was also sick but must have come up. Delaney's also crook apparently so couldn't play, so Harris had to come in.

3 players pulled out of the Tassie side due to sickness and I noticed that Wade wasn't well last night, so not sure whats going on at Adelaide Oval.

was listening to the radio during the 3rd final and they mentioned a couple of times that health inspectors had been in

I'd give the girls 0/10 for the season.

SA should have a mercy rule for their games, time to put the whites away. The doc has been a good servant, but time is up in shield cricket

In the 30 odd years the current points scoring system has been in place, we have had the worst season points wise, scoring less than half the previous worst.

quite simply we are the worst SS ever, worse even than the first tassie sides of the 70s when they entered the comp, why is this the case??, tasmania with about a quarter of our population are gunning for their 3rd title in 6 seasons, they seem to get the very best out of nearly all their imports which is more than we can say for some of ours.

Disgraceful once again.
Put these useless pricks on a performance based contract or a daily rate, their matches hardly ever go to a final day.
We are the laughing stock of Australian cricket but the positive is there is surely only one direction we can go from here

Even with our better teams we seem to get either embarrassed at the Gabba or play out of our skins for a miracle win over the years. Love to know our stats there since 96 ??

We realy are a disgrace and should be thrown out of the shield.

I know people have been saying about ACT and the like but really a ACT or NT would not or could not do any worse than the pi$$ poor efforts we serve up each week.

Who goes and who stays ? For what it's worth
First game 2012-13 season - shield only
Klinger - must open
Stray - worth persisting with
Cooper - maybe at 3
Ferguson - at 4 needs a career season
Head - will be batting at 3 one day
Steve Smith
Christian-- when available - Sayers - when not but batting at 8 behind Davey
Davey
Mennie - no higher than 9 - must work on his batting like Christian did his bowling
Put land
George

Gone, never going to better or not up to it

Doc Harris
Borgas
Bailey
Obrien
Doropolous
Cross Waite
Jury still out- need big seasons
J. Smith
Blizzard - Really only had 3 bad games- top scorer last season
K. Richardson - could get Mennie or Georges spot if he gets early wickets as he can hold a bat
Worth another try
Daniel Cullen
Bonus when available - Nathan Lyon
What is the name of the Under 19 opener .
Kelvin ??

Any thoughts and ideas ...

Doc Harris short form player only
Borgas short form player only
Bailey
Obrien short form player, behind Lyon though, currently our best spinner
Doropolous short form player only
Cross Waite back up keeper only, to Davey
Jury still out- need big seasons
J. Smith should still be there. exceptional grade form could get Klinger back in the middle order
Blizzard - Really only had 3 bad games- top scorer last season another journeyman who can be sacked
K. Richardson - could get Mennie or Georges spot if he gets early wickets as he can hold a bat good enough back up quick if he continues to improve
Worth another try
Daniel Cullen No. Send this guy to some country cricket grade, and he'll get smashed around.
Bonus when available - Nathan Lyon
What is the name of the Under 19 opener .
Kelvin ?? Kelvin Smith, can play

Any thoughts and ideas ...
