Your post has confused me, your saying Port had 6 U19 players to the Eagles 1 U19 player, and the Eagles won, but any other day Port would have won by 10 goals?
I think Port would have used those overage players as they were new to the SANFL system and they were pushing for reserves selection. No teams would use overage players to gain an edge on other clubs. That grade is for development of players.
