The 55 partnership is the highest 10th wicket partnership against QL
The previous highest was made in the 1932, 52 by Tom Carlton and fast bowler Tim Dravid at the Gabba

SA 410
Victor Richardson 121 [Ian, Trevor and Greg Chappells grandfather]
QL 420
SA were 9/237 thats when Tim Dravid and Tom Carlton put on the partnership all out 289
QL 129

Interesting to note that game started 12/3/1932 and was the 2nd game played between the 2 teams
The previous game was played at Adelaide Oval
That game started on the 25th of December 1931 , and SA also won HO HO HO HO HO HO
Albert Lonergan got his present for SA he got 137 on THAT day

Over 52.1: Putland to Hopes, no run, OUT, pushes hard outside off stump and he's got an edge through to the keeper. It was a good ball threatening to swing in, but didn't. QLD 5/148

That’s because halfway down the track, Gary told it not to!
