From what I understand from talking to Rayner is that he has committed to Woodville South but the clearances has not been done as he is currently away. Stubberfield is another in all reports will be playing at Woodville south this year and would expect the clearance to go through very soon. Tim sumner is the only out at the moment but could also be spending some time with Woodville south during the year depending on how things go with the Eagles.

A few other In's that have yet to be cleared but will be soon.

There are a few players from Woodville south that teams should look out for but I will let you guys work them out for yourselves.. A very dangerous forward line is forming that's all that will be said

not taking anything away from woody sth as a club but would WWT really want him playing div 6 footy if he cant get a game in their two's? pretty sure blokes like williams and corbett from lockleys got told if they wanted to be considered they would have to play for a div 1-2 side.

Not all SANFL clubs give that ultimatum. Fact is, if you aren't making the Reserves side, they are probably going to let you go anyway.

Pretty sure they do - he can still play u/18's anyway - you wont see him at woody south unless he quits wwt

HUGE Ins for The Cats! Woodville South should win this division by the length of the straight.

Thats ridiculous at this stage of the year - seen many a teams labelled unbeatable and get knocked off. Injuries and form play a big part too plus noone knows what the other 9 teams will come up with - improvement from players from last year plus recruits can do wonders for any club - this grade is wide open.

Not exactly, didn't play many games with the Eagles last year and unless his disipline improves he'll play almost the fall year for WS again this year.

He actually walked away from the Eagles during pre-season last year after a falling out so that's why he didn't play any games for them last year. Agree that he will need to be more consistent to succeed at that level, but boy can the kid take a game apart when he's on.

He has alot of talent, but lacked the dedication last year to play SANFL U18 footy. Is he at Eagles or Port this year?

Yes Trialled The Riddler is'nt that the purpose of Trial games?

He did play forward for 2 of his 3 1/4's as a lot of blokes did in terms of playing positions they are not use to so the coach can get an idea of who best suits where on the field. This will obviously change when we have everyone available.

Although I've just been told by my old man he heard we did'nt win a position on the ground and got smashed and this come from a bloke who was there and plays in div6.  I had a little laugh

North Pines had some very very handy footballers playing for them and should they hang on to these guys i believe they will do very well in div7. I wish Pines and Benny all the best.

I was told Central United won easily and the so called star didn't even play by a couple of blokes I know who were there and went to listen to him speak to the team and couldn't even here what the coach was saying

I'm also lead to believe that North Pines had a heap of blokes that didn't even play for them playing including port adelaides under 18's captain and vice captain wonder what port would say about that. Also a couple from Nhill on nearly $1000 a game and a couple of Gumeraca players also makes you wonder why they would bother playing them.

Well maybe some of these guys are looking at signing and for the young lads at port a little extra fitness wouldn't hurt are you gonna ring port directly and tell them very sad

for a first trial, the game was played well above the level i thought that they would be upto at this early stage.north pines were very good and suprised me to be honest but the fact that they may or may not have some players not listed with the club at this stage makes no difference
central were very good and played very disciplined footy
the game plan is alot different to what the club is used to and will take a little while to get through to several players but you can already see the change the coach has made to the club
a coach doesnt always have to yell and i thought his instructions and encouragement to the players was very good
this was as much a trial for the coaches as well as the players and i thought personally he did very well
centrals will be a very handy side this year and as more of the players give away their cricket and get back to footy the better they will get
we stand as one
we fight as one
we win and lose as one
we are one

Yes we had Ports U/18 vice captain play for us and I doubt we will see him all season but I am lead to believe that if for some reason he doesn't get a game for port he will be out with us. Hopefully for his sake we never see him out with us. We had 2 other blokes play for us who I now know we will never see again, Freddy Agius and Trevor Harraldine. I had never met either before Friday night and was unsure who they actually were before the game. All others who played, definately in the last 3 quarters are all a chance to be playing with us at Nth Pines.
As for the game Central United looked really good and I was glad that in patches we held our own. I wish Dutchy, Barnsey and all at Central United the best of luck for the season ahead.
