Wow North Havens list...almost needed PTO at the bottom to get the whole thing in.

Its always staggering to see the amount of movement in Amateur football between clubs....

Only movement we seem to have at the Lodge, is going from the old to the new change rooms, then back again!

If i need lights and an air conditioner to get myself motivated to play for the club i love then it would be time to retire.

In all honesty its about tradition and also has alot to do with our supporters and where they are usually positioned also.....plus its near the bbq so its the best decision really

Swap Havenz and Luthie ya say.....of the 22 ins for haven 14 of them have come from Div 2 and 3 as well as YPFL and NEFL all of which would be of a higher standard than Div 5 and further more all 14 players were starting A grade players. I wondering if anyone is willing to be that truthful about there INS? Love to know how many INS are targeted recruits capable of starting in the side. Haven't even mentioned the starting A graders from Havens finals side last year.

Also fair bit if talk of R. Miguel... Is it possibly putting fair ask on 1 player?

Who has said they were ALL starting A grade players. Some of the in's are quality players, and will play A grade for Havens, but just beacuse the come from a club whose A grade is in a higher division doesn't mean that all in's are for Haven's A's.
For example, none of the players from Port District were A graders there. some are good players, and would expect 2 if not 3 to play mostly A's for Haven this year, however some of those transfers will struggle to play B's or C's depending how well they are travelling.

Fair point you have ether Schnitzel...

Im just gonna make 1 point, although they may have played in higher divisions they may not dominate just because they have come down. Im sure if those players come with that attitude then they may get the shock of there life. Having grown up around country footy I have seen time after time players come to the league (ex SANFL players) being paid the big bucks and yet really they are not much better if at all then most of the guns already in the league...

The hype surrounding Miegel is warranted...Anyone who is 6"10 and is just as good below his knees is handy, not to mention he won the Div 5 medal 2 years ago when he last played in Div 5, and from a Woody South perspective from last year, he single handily beat them in the only game he played in Div 5....8.7 and some that he shouldn't of handed off...just an insight to what he is capable of

Im sure some of the Brahma and Haven boys would back me up here

Havens are very happy with the amount of players we have recruited to the club as we now have a fourth side and needed those numbers. Our main goal has been chasing former junior players that had left the club as this has been a major problem for us in the past. Of the players recruited only 10 are in consideration for A Grade of which only 5 or 6 will play in round 1. Which will definitely improve our team. The main downside is loss of our Ruckman and not getting a replacement.
I have a problem. It's to do with the little man, the squashed-in French man, the naked little squashed up hairy boy! You know! With the hand feet

Must be hard on the peninsula to maintain players with so many other clubs nearby. I remember in the early 80's when there was Ethelton, Port Presbyterian and Riverside to compete with aswell, a lot of clubs per population.
It amazes me how the NWMFL has so many numbers, when I lived at Cheltenham we could get to any opposition ground within 10 or 15 minutes.

Do you guys have some sort of immunity from the points system?
Or is it a case of getting blokes there on the assumption they will play A grade and then telling them later that you cant fit them in?
Not having a crack, just curious. I would give my left testicle for 22 ins

They have said that they targeted former junior players so if that's the case then they come with 0 points. Good work.
