I totally sympathise with you, ORDB.

I've learnt if you don't believe in conspiracy theories on here, you're best keeping quiet about it ;)

Has any conspiracy theory ever actually been proven as correct?

I think there's about 10 threads spread across the SANFL, AFL and cricket boards on this. So do we need this thread to be hijacked or can you contribute to those threads?

Dont know if this is the right forum, but ive been reading about the ATF (The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms) and their involvement in the Waco siege and the Ruby Ridge siege. Very heavy handed agency, going by these two incidents. Rewriting the FBI Rules of Engagement just to get a guy that didnt turn up for court, because the information sent to him from the Government had the wrong court date on it. Pretty much made the engagement rule, shoot to kill on sight, whereas in the actual FBI Rules of Engagement they have to ask the suspect to surrender, then establish if the suspect is armed and a threat, then shoot to defend theirselves.

In the Ruby Ridge incident, they killed a 14 year old boy in the woods, using commandos in fatigues. Then killed his mother, while she was holding her 10 month old daughter, via a sniper. All while on American soil. The sniper got off manslaughter charges because of sovereign immunity. Very interesting reading. Did a good job of stimulating my brain on a lazy Sunday.

Interesting that one of her quotes at the time was "He didn't even have the satisfaction of being killed for civil rights..... It's - it had to be some silly little communist" but given the climate at the time it was in her interests to toe the line.

Non of those are conspriracy theories in the pure sense where there happens to be an excepted story of events which turns out to be false and the conspiracy true.

Not sure if I am explaining myself correctly, but what I am saying is none of those events were ever thought of as 'conspiracy theories' before they were found out to be fact. They have always just been history.

Don't know it's a conspiracy theory but what about the story of Frederick Valentich who left Moorabin airport in 1978 to go to King Island and back and reported seeing an aircraft making strange manoevours and he has never been seen since and a trawl of Bass Strait uncovered nothing

As time goes by, looks more like Pat Tillman could fit into this category.
