Why should my club suffer merely to provide cheap 'content' to another leagues media partner?

No thanks.

The simple fact of the matter is there was minimal if any impact on the actual SANFL comp last year but this year we have multiple byes in round one as well as teams having double byes and 3 weeks out of the game.
It seems crazy that a hastily organised comp would have little or no impact on the SANFL last year but with more time to plan and organise this year its turned our fixture into a shambles.
Is the Foxtel Cup to blame or should we be blaming the SANFL or other factors including the state game for the wacky 2012 draw?

Agree about messing up Round 1, but regarding multiple byes, it seems to have worked for the Eagles the last two years (obviously the timing is important) so if the players and coaches are happy with having multiple byes, then taht's good enough for me.
