WOW. Caught at Fine Leg last ball of the day. Doesn't sound like a good way to end his season.

Sounds like a good days cricket between South Road and Cove.

Morphy's still a chance for first innings points and even if they miss out on them it looks like the outright is a chance for both sides.

Plympton look to have had a great day which looks to be topped off with a wicket in the only over they had to bowl. Who was the person out?

Our game was a hard fought contest and one Luders over turned the end of the day to our favour. Mal got a stinker of a decision and Cookie is the one who got the decision that made up for Mal's. I don't think there was much doubt about the others that were given.

Should be a good day next week with plenty of capable bats for Sheidow still to come.

Thought cookies was out but question Bennett's when playing a legside shot and off the foot goes finer than fine leg.

End of the day umpires decision stands and play continues next week. Big task for us to come back from this position but not out of the question with some of the bats to come. If we bat smartly and without too much risk then batting out the 75 will have us very close!

Yep, he hit it pretty well, picked out our fielder beautifully, was very dark up there towards the end so was a good catch. He was also dropped two balls earlier by the keeper, was a tough chance..

To be fair, he gets his front pad across and plays across the line (3 times we have played him and got him lbw everyone playing the same shot).

Big days cricket next week!

Morphy Pk's and Keswick section 2 sides scores does anyone know.

Our b's rolled Kenilworth for 130 odd and are 2/36 in reply so are still a very sill chance for the outright to sneak into 4th spot if one of Morphy's or Keswick lose.

Predictions for the round now:
Wyc to win v Sheidow
Icc to beat keswick (icc chasing 220 odd)
Plympton to win
Belair to win
Cove to win
Coro to get 6 points in an outright (glenelg 99 batting first, coro.75)

Leave the ladder looking something like this:

WYC 56
Cove 46
Plympton 46
Icc 43 (Just)
South road 43
Coro 43
Morphys 38
Belair 36
Ramblers 31
Glenelg 31
Keswick 25
Sheidow 25

Coro and Morphys have both shot themselves in the foot. SR quotient is 1.20 and ICCs is 1.12. If cove beat SR, and the sharks win it is going to be a bloody tight finish

Thats a pretty decent score at Hackam, will be a tough ask for ICC i reckon.

Cant believe whats happened to Coromandel since round 4,has the captain lost control? Would have rated them a certain finalist at the start of the year. Cricket is a funny game

Who is everyones tip for the twenty20 grand final today up at blackwood footy club? I reckon south rd should do it easy if they bat first, could be alot closer if sheidow set a target...

Mate, you're not a journalist looking for a front page headline. To single out the captain of a strong side is not on. Put simply, we as a group have simply not performed!! The squad is 100% behind Jai as he has a very intelligent cricket mind. Yes, we we got off to a flying start and we're maybe too confident but like you said, cricket is a funny game!! If you don't perform you don't get results and we as a team have not performed. All we can do now is learn from a disappointing year and bounce back next year.
We bowled and fielded extremely well yesterday to keep ANA to 99 but Rowey almost single handedly destroyed us taking 7/35. Credit to him in what was a very firery and passionate day at Hewett Oval yesterday. I'm sure we'll hear more about that in the week to come...

But anyway.. I think south Road will get up today if Matt Potts gets going!

Another shit stirring post from Boozer but well answered .... Seems from afar that your batting has let you down and in a very even ordinary comp, apart from WYC who could dominate for years, it doesnt take much to either go up the ladder or down. Care to expand on that comment Moose ?

Well done to Pritch and Plympton ! Finish this game off and you should be pretty confident of winning the first final .........

Good win by Sheidow in the T20 today at Blackwood. Sth Road 135 off their 20. Potts made about 60 after being dropped on about 20.

South Road will probably lament their slow start as they finished their innings quite well. They were 0 or 1 for 42 off the first 10.

Harvey made about 45 and Morrison about 30 as well as someone who batted very sensibly for about 30 whilst he had hitters around him.

Sheidow passed the score with 9 balls remaining.

It was a good entertaining day of cricket to watch.

Yeah it was a good days cricket indeed. Very smart batting by the Sheidow boys avoiding the slogs and keeping the ball on the deck.
Shame Mr. Wright had to stamp his authority on the day again. When is he going to realise the game isn't about him?

One of the South Road lads took a catch on the boundary with 5 overs to go but Andrew overturned it and called it a six, undermining the Roadies lad and giving Sheidow the upper hand.

I heard one of the Sth Road players after the game who thought the right decision was made.

No doubt the Sth Road players were upset with the decision but how far do you get arguing with any umpire let alone Andrew surely people know that well enough by now. It took a good 3-5 minutes before the game resumed which was ridiculous.
