Port Augusta (SGL) is stronger than Whyalla.

i totally agree squids. i play in the sgl and it seems the league is getting stronger each year its going great. havent ever played in whyalla but from people ive spoke to who have is there is the same amount of stars in the comp but because of the 6 teams in the one town the depth drops. but at the same time when the annual sgl v whyalla is played sgl always seems to win.

It's not that much of a difference though, plus a truckload of WFL's best players are generally unavailable for those contests due to shift work.

And Roopena FC would do a nice big turd on anything any SGL club would have to offer in regards to facilities.

 Umm not so sure, Roos clubrooms would fit three times inside Centrals and Ports dont have bad digs either

What's your point? Centrals could fit three times in an aircraft hanger too. Inside it's still a throwback to the 1980s in comparison to Roos.

When was the last time you were in the bloods clubrooms there os. Roos is a great spot and what they have done there of late looks good, but the Centrals outfit is impressive, I think your original comment might have been a little overblown.

Best club: Roopena in the WFL.

Make the two for Roopena!

North Whyalla FC is the best club to be involved in !!!!
Great family club with no pokies etc, overall good country club with a great culture
If you want to know more let me know

I don't understand the problem with having pokies.. Can a family not have a good night if a club has them? I know I've taken my parent there plenty of times and believe it or not we all just walked past them.. It doesn't really seem that big of deal until you talk to anyone from a club that doesn't have them

Roos best run club by far. Took a punt ( pardon the pun ) on the pokies. No one puts a gun to anyone's head to play them.

Sometimes it's easy to throw stones where there is jealousy

Have a listen to yous! Like little kids at the pisshouse saying mines is bigger than yours. I got offered money by Roopena to go over there a few years ago when their captain Felbig (I think it is) walked into another club and kinghit my brothers friend and walked out. Must be a good club hey!!!
The flashest club with the money duznt mak it the best club. Have a look at Central Augusta !

Spot on. You can only envy a club 4 so long for taking a risk and it paying off. Like in Pirie with Ports people go on bout them but wat they put bak into the community they need to b commended 4. I am not a port player or supporter far from it. But sooner or later u need to get on with it and try to beat them on the feild with wateva ur team has.

Best run club hey ???
If they were that well run they wouldnt be making an absolute stuff up with the clearance system at the moment.
Not putting in clearances in but simply trying to add new players from other clubs in town to there list on Sportingpulse.
It's a very easy system to follow but then again they are the best run club in town.
Also I dont think anyone is jealous that Roo's and West have pokies anyway, good on them if this is the way the want to run there club but if you scratch the surface, people with young families going to a footy club would rather not have them at the club of there choice.
Pokies doesnt mean you will be succesful in football anyway as we all would know just that it helps with money coming into the club etc.
