Talk on the national game

Jaeger O'Meara

After watching the first two weeks of the NAB cup, fair to say this kid is a jet. As most are aware he isn't able to play AFL until next year and will just be dominating in the NEAFL, do you think there should be exceptions to allow talents like this to play?

Only going to be playing a handful of NEAFL games isn't he?? The Suns were talking it up that they will confine him to the gym this season unlike the Crows with Brad Crouch

As usual, a topic gets turned into something about the Crows.

Brad Crouch and O'Meara, miles apart. O'Meara will be the next big thing! As influential as Buddy Franklin!

Turn it up

What did you expect when there are only two players in the league in the same situation and one of them is at the Crows

IMO The Suns are going about his development all wrong. Yes manage him to an extent as essentially he is doing an 18 month pre season but I would have thought his football development would be a priority.

Look forward to the 'other' player in his situation play in the SANFL all season

You are an idiot. Yes the players are miles apart but Crouch would be better than most drafted players. And all he was doing was comparing the different developments that each side is going.

In my opinion the crows have the right idea, give the young guy some football against the men in the SANFL. Getting him ready for the big stuff, much like how Jack Trengrove went at Sturt.

Having O'Meara in the gym will get his body only ready for senior football, but he still needs to get games under his belt against the bigger bodies.
Read my reply. It is directed at you because you have double standards

Good points, though the risk of serious contact/collision injuries against the big bodied seniors is a lot greater, especailly if the body isnt big enough.
