UFC of Fuel TV 1 live on OneHD today at 11.30am for 3 hours. Looks to be a good card. Ellenberger v Sanchez, Struve v Herman, Miocic v De Fries.

Read that Dana said he ****** up by not making it a 5-Round fight and in the future they will be.

Yes, what a great card and what a historic UFC we have next weekend – UFC 144 in Japan

The last UFC held in Japan was UFC 29 in December 2000 and this was the last UFC before Zuffa purchased it from SEG.
What a card UFC 29 was – 2 title fights with Pat Miletich defending his LW title and Tito Ortiz defending his MW belt (under 200 pounds – no LHW division back then). The card also featured Chuck Liddell, Mat Hughes, Evan Tanner (RIP), Matt Lindland.

What a potential card we have for the return. A 7 fight main card with Edgar v Henderson, Rampage v Bader, Hunt v Kongo, Jake Shields v Sexyama, Okami v Boetsch, Pettis v Lauzon and The fireball Kid, Takanori Gomi can not even make the main card. The PPV is going to run for 4 hours and I think starts at 1.30pm with the prelims at 11.30 on OneHD.

Agreed, can't wait for Sunday, main event should be a pearler. 6 hours of UFC, a perfect lead-in for being there live at the Allphones Arena for UFC Sydney!

Outstanding card. Footage of the LW Champion and his mum after the fight sensatonal and showed the human side of the toughest sportmen on the planet.

Huge card and a great display of MMA. Was the perfect day to plonk on the couch for 6 hours and watch fight after fight after fight.

Not a big fan of Bendo (mostly because of his God-bothering talk), and not a fan of close decisions going to title challengers. I think Edgar is entitled to a rematch, but can the division afford yet another as so many viable challengers wait in the wings?

Rampage was fat, slow and disappointing.

Hunt was fat, fast and powerful. No miracle comeback for Kongo there.

Jake Shields is a boring fighter and I have no idea why Akiyama is still on a UFC contract as he is ******* useless. Outpointed by Shields' striking WTF?!

How good was the Boetsch v Okami fight. Amazing ending that I reckon lifted everyone out of their seat. Great coaching from Boetsch's corner going into the final round - "You gotta be super agressive now" - and is the kind of attitude that more fighters should take when they know they are losing the decision.

Hioki super impressive and could have been fight of the night. Championship material.

Like last year it was a fun show. Not happy to read that we were robbed of an extra time round for the 1st tournament match.

Not much discussion but what an outstanding month of MMA we have seen.
The UFC 144 Japan Card was outstanding from the first prelim to the Main Event. The Sydney show exceeded all expectatons with outstanding fights. The Strikeforce -Tate vs Rousey continued the quality Strikeforce cards and perhaps a new superstar has emerged in Ronda Rousey? TUF live for the first time in a few hours on Fuel TV, The long awaited Jones vs Evans fight at UFC 145 and I look ahead to UFC 146 and see potentialy one of the greatest cards ever with the top 4 HW's all on the card. A great time for MMA fans.

The main card on UFC 146 has been allocated all heavyweight fights (leaving a ripper prelim card).

Begs the question, if they are so keen to stack a main card with fights from the same weight division, why have they not yet done this with the deep lightweight division and get some of the up-and-comers onto primetime?
