Twiggy got an assistant coach job. Can nearly guarantee Jacko would not have an offer. May have put in a quote, but the quote would have been a lot less than what he was really wanting

If Tailem play there best team Peake will be lucky to be within 10 goals at quarter time!! Tailem have turned into a pretty handy team and if Bowen rucks, Wark plays at CHF and Ray Love at FF it will simply be a slaughter.

I know these 2 clubs have had close trials in the past, but with Peakes outs, Its hard to see them getting under a 20 goal margin. A waste of time for both clubs this year!

I reckon the last 2 trials have beem one sided. Tailem last year by about 15 goals, Peake in 2010 by about 10 goals or so.

Nope. Tailem never lost to Peake by 10 goals. In a six-quarter game, where the B grade played the first three and the A grade sides played the last three the final score had Peake up by three kicks. And so the Lions had bragging rights.
Last year saw two matches, and Tailem Bend won the full-length A grade 88 points. The Eagles are a far, far stronger out fit then they were then.

I think there is a good relationship between the two clubs and it’s more of a social get together and a chance to brush off the cobwebs and both clubs would appreciate the chance to have a hit out. There is a good bunch of blokes at Peake.

Just seen on the clearances, Andrew Purchase to Lameroo.

From all reports is a gun and will go very well in the Mallee League.
