Best part of the day was going to buy a beer and opening the wallet to realise someone had gone through our bags and pinched our cash - that was a terrific end to the day.

that sort of thing has been going on for years mate ! leave ya cash in ya car???

In 30 years of cricket I've never experienced it, we were sitting near our changerooms, it was very brazen.

Pull your head in! This sort of thing has happened to us before at Pooraka and at other grounds. For you to accuse Pooraka of taking the cash is an absolute disgrace!!!!

GRADE 1 PREMIERSHIP TABLE
Salisbury West 143.53
Rose & Crown 116.99
Angle Vale 105.46
Virginia 103.10

Central United 78.97
One Tree Hill 75.67
Smithfield 75.58
Parafield Gardens 49.40

Round 14
Angle Vale vs Central United: Angle Vale would want to get back into the winners circle with a win here, they will finish either 3rd or 4th, the Units will be after a win to give them no chance of relegation, should be a good battle.
Smithfield vs One Tree Hill: The Relegation Cup, the loser will play Grade 2 next season unless a reverse outright occurs, the way both teams have collapsed during the season an outright result seems possible.
Rose & Crown vs Parafield Gardens: Not a lot can happen here, Rosies have 2nd spot sewn up & Gardens can't move up.
Virginia vs Salisbury West: Virginia have been a bogey side for Westies in the past, they have won 2 out of their last 3 encounters, will Westies be resting anyone.

It was on hard wicket though. I reckon we lost at least 4 wickets due to the lack of bounce you get from turf. Overall, they were a better outfit on the day.

Word on the street is Justin Davies might be playing Grade 2 this week and not showing his hand to Virginia whilst helping the magoos solidify their finals spot ? :-?
