Well done SA
Tassie left it too tight at the end, very ordinary losing with that many wickets in hand

Bailey lost them the match

bailey didn't lose the game. He batted so well to get them in to the game. He is a gun

Batted brilliantly until his brain fade, his side needs 4 off the over and can do it with singles so Bailey decides to walk 2 foot across his stumps and play a poor shot, the new batter comes in and game over.
Gun player but needed to get them home

Nonetheless a great effort by the Redbacks to make the final, a fantastic gesture by the SACA to open the gates, and I will almost certainly be going along.

Historic enough for you now? :D

Well done Redbacks, great effort!

Would love to now see some improvement in the Sheffield Shield.

I wonder how Faulkner would feel, pretty poor effort from him.

Should Crosthwaite have tried to throw the stumps down? No way Ponting would've made it it he hit. Really in the same situation in a regular game he has an underarm at the stumps. The only reason it was a tie was because we allowed the last run. End result is fantastic but i can't help but think that he should have run Ponting out. There were so many blokes backing up so nothing to lose.

All we had to do was tie to win title. Crosthwaite did right thing. If he had thrown and somehow missed fielder they could have got extra run. He won some brownie points with me tonight with his great decision to come up to the stumps with 3 balls remaining. He then preceded to produce a great take to a rather difficult ball. Gutsy move and went along way to us collecting the title.
