Dylan McIver will be an absolute league dominating gun when he gets a bit more size about him. Sorry to see him leave EFC, but can understand lads wanting to play with their mates, so wish him the best of luck.

I guess we fail then since he won't be playing for us

We have definitely recruited well but we have also lost our fair share. Some big outs as well as some big ins so gotta take it all into consideration. We have picked up some quality footballers (like all clubs have) so i would say we are in better shape than last season but i wouldnt go as far to say that we 'fail at football' if we dont win the flag! Remember we only just escaped relegation last season...

just my thoughts on jumpers and image
i dont believe all clubs should change and i cant rember saying that
what i was suggesting is that even though clubs love the tradition of their jumpers,a few people get carried away with the whole tradition bit and alot of the wowsers dont have nothing to do with the clubs any more any way
all clubs have changed jumpers at one stage or another
whether it be a total change or minor it has happened
clubs that want to keep their current tradition i have no problem with and applaud them to a degree on their beliefs in the club and jumper
but clubs now have to look at so much more and a change of image, even if it is only small can result in so much more appeal to sponsors, players supporters ect
plymton i do applaud you for your tradition but i also see the benifit in a club trying anything to survive and get bigger and better
we stand as one
we fight as one
we win and lose as one
we are one

Might be an early call but this could well be the worst call for the year...

Jabber is too cool for the D5 forum now....and i dont blame him

No need to apologise mate. I didn't take your comment as a crack. i was agreeing with you, i was more directing my comments back to dee man. damn my late night posts, and making little sense!

Ok I cant remember who are/were the favourites for the flag but pencil in HV. A couple of very very good recruits signed or about to.

Excellent! People had us penciled last year and we ended up being 2-6 (or similar) at the half time break ;)

I think I should clearly start going to training because I had no idea we had any.

I keep forgetting we're in the same div again. Are we still friends? ;)

If you can get Jimmy Morrison fit and firing he'll be more than a handful for the opposition.

Have never seen him play Q, but by all accounts, he goes alright. If so then him and Justin Farrell are both good pick up for the Demons.
I'm proud of you fellas. You all kept your head on a swivel, and that's what you gotta do when you find yourself in a vicious cock fight!

Never seen him play either (don't think he has for a little while), but a few of our lads know him well and hold his footy ability in high regard.
