Not 100% sure but I was given scores off Craigmore all out 175 V Nth Pines 6/167.
Went down and watched a bit Nth Pines had Craigmore 6/60 odd I think it was. So could have been worse for Craigmore. Nth Pines let Craigmores lower order get away from them in the end. Kodi Ross is on 98 at close off play.

Shit, 340 odd in a day's play, good going. An outright would open the door for them, they play Virginia in round 14.

Not sure that is the Pines total in reply I heard around 140odd. Kodi is the key, get him early this week and game is in the balance.
Official umpire standard in this game is deplorable, that is all.

It has got me beat how some of these guys happily accept their match payments.
I am seriously considering taking up umpiring as I reckon I could do a 100% better job than some of the current umpires.

The one in question gets there hours early, tries to look professional but has absolutely no idea, I've heard this from 3 or 4 different observers.

As I said not 100% sure just what I was told. Kodi is definately the key.
Would have to agree, the umpire was terrible but I guess all you can hope is that he is consistantly terrible for both teams and all dodgey decision even out.

yep sounds like the same one, gets the tape measure out to set up the stumps and then starts play 5 minutes late amd then tells the players to get on with it during the day.
How many drinks breaks did other games take on the weekend?
Our umpire took them every 40 minutes, didnt think it was that hot myself!!

Thanks mate, little dose is doing very well and didnt want me to play on saturday, so i stood at first slip on a different venue. Maybe it was good i didnt play, pretty poor effort making only 41, got have blokes standing up, otherwise we may well get relegated.

Mine would be something like -

Sewell
Parkhouse
Jenner D
Morris
McIntyre
Carman A
Scott T
Davies
McInnes
Carman J
Wellington

My team of the Year:

Sewell Outstanding for the potential Champions. Master blaster up the top
Fenwick 2nd most runs by any other opener, Solid for units once again.
Jenner D Been the pick of the players for Rose and Crown this year, if he continues he could help Rosies take on westies in GF
Morris Consistent middle order player with one of the best cover drives in Para Districts
Carmen A Pick of the all rounders by far, most runs in league and 3rd in league for wickets. Mckenzie medal favourite
Hannun On his day can destroy any attack and very handy with the ball if the main bowlers are struggling, had another good year
Parkhouse WK Opening batsman, but takes the gloves at number 7. Only played 8 games but averaging 50 with the bat
Wellington been a relevation at westies, 22 wickets for a young spinner with the 3rd best average in the top 30 wicket takers
Woodard great young quick, can intimidate a top order and very handy with the bat
Carmen J Competition yard stick as far as Opening the bowl, may take 50 wickets in a year again.
McInnes Para Districts hall of famer, just takes wickets week in week out against any opposition

12th man L Kent/J Davies/T Scott All 3 have had great seasons, would make someone elses best XI, just didnt quite make it in my opinion for this year so far, but with 2 games to go then finals, will make a mark for the rest of the year

Intersting selection of Raed... I did look at him, and as damaging as he is there's players with more runs and higher averages than him.

Funny how Paul Macsai doesn't get a mention anywhere either. Not much apart from the 170 I suppose.

Probably being very biased i think there, the thing with raed is he either turns it on or dosent, and its crucial early, he will give you a chance or 2. But in saying that, if he has one of those innings were it all goes his way, mate he is worth watching. Remember his 200 odd against units in grade 2 a few years back, was the best knock ive seen from any batsman.

Mate, little Dose obviously got a thin edge to the keeper then - I have seen your catching

Salisbury West
Rose and Crown
Angle Vale
Virginia

Main difference being Virginia would be much closer to AV for third.

If you guys bowled AV out for 200ish & Virginia scored around 300 & won outright it would something like this.

Westies a billion
Rosies 117
Vale 105
Virginia 103

Which would leave Rosies to play Gardens, Vale to play Units & Virginia to play Westies in the last round.

You'd think not, you guys still have plenty of cricket left to play this week, hasn't been any rain so there oval will be even quicker than last week....and it's downhill all round. Runs on the board but still anyone's game.
