Not only do the jumpers look good, but word is that Charlie has been standing shoulder-to-shoulder with the great Nathan Bassett during Norwood training sessions and has been devising game plans that are one step ahead of the rest of the competition. The other coaches don't stand a chance, prepare to be flummoxed on Saturdays ;)

WOW!! because norwood footballers and the hope valley A grade are just so similar. Sorry bud you can implement the Fu*%Ken Geelong game plan if ya want... Won't make a difference in Div 5 football. Guarantee ya hope valley will play the same style of footy they've always played. And from what I've observed it's a good style, but I don't think any coach willbe bamboozled champ!!

Two great new jumpers S. Demon. Vast improvement on the old jumper for home jumpers and the clash strip is fantastic. Saw Hope Valley play a few times last year and once against Rosewater, when you used those horrible blue SAAFL clash jumpers. Was thinking then that a clash jumper would look great. Silver in colour with blue and red, also will not clash with anyone either. Really good. IMO if you could take the cost of jumpers out of the equation, then all clubs should have a clash jumper and many clubs have done a great job introducing them over time. Hopefully all clubs will have them, in the next 5 years. Possibly, the club diehards will not like them initially due to it being a change or different to the past, but they were needed to modernise the jumper design and move forward.

they are modern, still keep the tradition of the club but also have a good look of intimadition about them
great to see clubs biting the bullet and bringing their clubs into the 21st century
well done, alot of other clubs should take the demons lead and bring their clubs out of the past and into the future

Think you will find that many, many clubs have clash jumpers. Hope Valley have done a great job, but certainly not the only club and many clubs have had the clash jumpers for 10 years or more in the higher grades. Probably more than half. Would be great for all clubs to have them and well done to the people such as D. Demon and the many others at the Valley for bringing their club into the 21st Century.

Our predominantly white guernsey debuted last year against Hope Valley on what was probably the wettest and muddiest day of the year.

It still is a pretty good jumper, in any case, they came up white and bright for the next time, no harm done.

First post for season 2012 as it turns out to be a cracker...

Got some good and not so good news, looking through the list of INS I'm gonna chuck it out there and say that Luthies will be very hard to beat this year.
Expect another massive recruit to be signed up soon in the form of a Miegel...For those of you playing at home he only played the one game for luthier last year kicking 8.7 due to work commitments and won the Medal the year before in a team which was less than impressive...
This is what I have heard on the latest grapevine and if true, WILL be the recruit of the year. Open for criticism....

No criticism, just envy. Time to stack the B and C grade to get a premiership somehow. 8)
