if he didn't sustain the quad injury he would have played over half of the matches this season

I had heard from a very reliable source that the redbacks hierarchy had been keen on Liam Davis, after this weekend you'd think WA might throw the kitchen sink at him to stay.

what about the other half of the matches? Someone needs to bowl 10-15 overs a day when we are in the field for 3 days.

i hope we do get steve smith as he is a player with fantastic potential - i think everyone that bags him on here forgets how young he is

we doent have any spinners capable at first class level, but are pacemen are ok so he would complimnt our side extremely well

Also, allows 2 spinners when Lyon is available and bat top 5.... would be the best fielder as well. Cant see to much wrong with it really!

Todays advertiser sports section(Amber Halliday& Ben Hook) states that there might be some Interstate interest for Dan Cullen?
