Johnny Lucas wind back the clock son great effort!!
Nek 109 PV in trouble again at 6/78. Should be ok but having said that have lost 3/0 today and 6/26 last
Game!

Speak for yaself O2T, I used to love his mediums swinging into my pads... ;)

Was fortunate enough to have Tinny in the Gold Team for 3 matches in the 2006 Carnival at Rostrevor, and he took 10 poles and just missed out on All-Aust selection. Top bloke and a real stalwart of Magill/Morialta & indeed, the Association. 8)

Lol so wr can expect to see Holland bowl all day to sort out this issue. Wouldn't be the first time he has done it!

No. Holland will wait till the top order has been removed them come on and clean the tail up to get his wickets ;) No point working hard all day bowling from one end, when you can come on for half the spell and remove the tail

Adel Lutheran won the toss and chose to field. Pity Wehrman can't play this week  ;)

That is one of the most ridiculous decisions I have ever ever heard!!! Surely, I mean surely, not all agreed that fielding would be the option.

Speaking to a couple of there players after the game and they said the decision was made Thursday night as there best bat wasn't playing yesterday.
To me still makes no sense as the game will have no bearing on finals. We will be playing each other first final. All it has done is knock a couple of guys into form and given some of the bowlers a good sleep last night.

What if 2 of your best batsmen are only available 2nd week?

I thought of that but given the temp, I think choosing to bowl on a day like yesterday against the top side was just ridiculous

You'd think so on a normal ground hey, but in reality it's only about 80x nicks, nudges & pushes to the fence and 7-8 top edges over the boundary markers away from being chased down.. ;)

The Borgas Brothers are in for Lutheran this week, and we lose Wehrman for Rob O'Gorman

Was a long day for the Lutheran boys, who were all in Pink hats in support of the McGrath Foundation. Only Johnno from Lutheran was able to join us for a beer afterwards, but you could understand the AL boys taking off quickly to the nearest swimming pool or cold shower! Wehrman's knock was a treat to watch, chanceless and included some big sixes. Probably the first time the Kersbrook recruit showed the comp what he's capable of for Rose Park.

NEK all out for 109 .. couple of guys copped abit of sledging from one MR MARSHALL....
not a good day with the bat from us but thats cricket, we normally do that in the first final.
so hopefully we have put that curse to rest and play to our full potential in the prelim.
back to MR MARSHALL........SECOND BALL DUCK , caught and bowled by a diving (haha) baldo......
revenge is sweet sometimes.
now they need 31 to win and we need 4 wickets for less than that ........will be a good finish whoever wins.
really bad shots played by both teams .
