Edge is the keeper, has scored the most runs in comp. Grigoul is probably the better gloveman but there is no room for 2. Williamson a better cricketer all round and would have to be in the side.

May have changed since i spoke to him which was a while ago.

Pretty certain he wont be playing at Salisbury West this year,

im willing to have a small wager on it infact.

Already a couple of others have left Salisbury West as well.

Im not a massive better but willing to have a carton of beer on it. Loser to pay up after Round 1 sound fair.

If im wrong more than happy to pay up i dont take things to serious on here and this gives me a bit of extra interest in the offseason.

If i am correct im happy to have a few beers with yourself and super and have a laugh.

Time to start thinking of team of the year candidates... Just had a quick look at some numbers and averages.

My team of the Year:

Sewell Outstanding for the potential Champions. Master blaster up the top
Fenwick 2nd most runs by any other opener, Solid for units once again.
Jenner D Been the pick of the players for Rose and Crown this year, if he continues he could help Rosies take on westies in GF
Morris Consistent middle order player with one of the best cover drives in Para Districts
Carmen A Pick of the all rounders by far, most runs in league and 3rd in league for wickets. Mckenzie medal favourite
Hannun On his day can destroy any attack and very handy with the ball if the main bowlers are struggling, had another good year
Parkhouse WK Opening batsman, but takes the gloves at number 7. Only played 8 games but averaging 50 with the bat
Wellington been a relevation at westies, 22 wickets for a young spinner with the 3rd best average in the top 30 wicket takers
Woodard great young quick, can intimidate a top order and very handy with the bat
Carmen J Competition yard stick as far as Opening the bowl, may take 50 wickets in a year again.
McInnes Para Districts hall of famer, just takes wickets week in week out against any opposition

12th man L Kent/J Davies/T Scott All 3 have had great seasons, would make someone elses best XI, just didnt quite make it in my opinion for this year so far, but with 2 games to go then finals, will make a mark for the rest of the year

Intersting selection of Raed... I did look at him, and as damaging as he is there's players with more runs and higher averages than him.

Funny how Paul Macsai doesn't get a mention anywhere either. Not much apart from the 170 I suppose.

Def not bagging the bloke but how many times has he turned it on in the last 2 years? and against who? Just because he has potential to turn it on is not a reason to pick him in a team that is getting picked on recent good form..
