Justin Farrell is returning to Hope Valley this year. Very good one on one player. Quite short but very fit and quick. Similar vein to a Stiffy Johncock.
Very disappointed to lose him as is a great bloke also.

Yes Informer great to have Justin back at his junior club, and I'm sure he will be an even better player having had the experience at Birdwood. :D

Stewart's almost as a decrepit as Bourke, no room for two zimmer frames in the forward line

Nah you guys are well above us in the favouritism order! We were almost relegated last year so talk about top 3-4 should be directed in other directions.

It was until we looked at the clearances today.

There definitely has been some recruiting going down, especially Havens, Lutheran and Glenunga. Will make the season very tight thats for sure! Some great signs for Havens, after been relegated, then coming back up when the chance presented it. Looks like they are forming a very good squad. Guess they just need to gell now.

But how good is the quality of their recruits? A graders? B graders?

Nurton and Brushell are some handy picks ups for Glenunga.

From what I'm led to believe, definitely some quality in the list.

How about your guys? You mentioned earlier most were B graders for some depth? How many of them are A graders?? 6-8?
Still very good pick ups considering in 2011: A grade finished 5th?? and B grade finished 5th so both you would assume will improve with the pick ups.

In our situations, we have picked up 6 very very good players who will fit in very well, but also have lost atleast 5 at the moment from 2011, so we basically are all square. We will need to gel and play as a team to improve on last year or we will be soul searching again at seasons end.

Fair enough, I guess we'll wait and see.

Yeah Masha about that, maybe 6 of those guys will be starting A graders IMO but who knows, could have injuries, etc. so we won't know for sure until round 1 on who's playing where.

A grade finished 4th and the B's 5th mate. We should have a bit of depth through the grades this season, which will be great, there certainly will be competition for spots.

Wouldnt think your C's would need any bolstering!! Although if in Div 8, would be handy.

Good luck to your side, as mentioned earlier, to come back from where you where, your committee and club have done very well. Except for no luck when we play you....

We were hoping for 2-3 more to come out, still waiting for this to eventuate but to be honest, will back what we have in as it still is a good side. Guys getting more excited the closer the season draws nearer, just need cricket to rack off so we can get more numbers out.

Haha, there's always room for improvement and the C grade side will have to be better than last years to compete in Div 8.

Exactly, it's been an absolutely incredible effort by everyone involved in the NHFC to come back from where we were and if we continue to work hard the results will come our way this season.

The biggest thing with recruits Masha is if they are there for the right reasons and from what I've seen for us all of our ins cetainly are, they're all great local lads and have been great for us throughout pre-season training. I'm sure Payney being the great coach he is has made certain that the ins you have are at BL for the right reasons. Good luck to you coach. :)
