Young Sammy Keane moving to districts. That's a bit disappointing.

North Haven have recruited extremely well!! Some good names in that list, will definitely be the ones to beat after improving from last years list. Nice job!

Maybe people will have to re- do there premiership ladder, now we are not favourite behind North Haven, Brahma Lodge and Glenunga. :(

Nah you guys are well above us in the favouritism order! We were almost relegated last year so talk about top 3-4 should be directed in other directions.

It was until we looked at the clearances today.

And not that hard pay your fees and you will be cleared just like the ones who haven't been denied

All 4 denied clearances are for players unfinancial from the 2011 season?

You obviously know about 1 of them, also Josh McKenna denied because he isnt leaving (his choice), and the others because they havent paid any sort of subs. We do the $10 a game for the C graders, so those who were denied, have not paid the required amount that matches their game tally.

Is it possible a club could let an A grade player not pay any fees if said player is getting paid to play? If so I don't believe the club deserves to ask for playing fees when the player departs! so if then the player hasn't signed a 'contract' how else could they be denied?

There definitely has been some recruiting going down, especially Havens, Lutheran and Glenunga. Will make the season very tight thats for sure! Some great signs for Havens, after been relegated, then coming back up when the chance presented it. Looks like they are forming a very good squad. Guess they just need to gell now.

Expect Glenunga to be around the mark this year with Bushell and Stewart both leading goalkickers at their past clubs and Daniel Phillips a top quality defender. Very good recruiting IMO.

Good work SD on getting the clearances up.

I recognise almost none of the name on the lists, any chance of those who know giving us a run down

Nothing you can do about the points, they print out on the team sheet if you are over that is it

When you print off the teamsheet from Sporting Pulse it will list the points value of every player
named and the total cannot be more than 15

Would have thought most paid players would have had their club financial membership paid or included as part of their contract. If not, then bad luck to them if they they want a clearance and are denied because they are unfinancial. Surely if its not in their contract, the club would take the membership out of them in the first couple of weeks. Some clubs have awards at end of games throughout the year and if your not a financial member you don't get the award.

One would hope by the start of the season they will be appearing on teamsheets. The points value field is now appearing on the registration page to record it.

Justin Farrell is returning to Hope Valley this year. Very good one on one player. Quite short but very fit and quick. Similar vein to a Stiffy Johncock.
Very disappointed to lose him as is a great bloke also.
