I'd hate to be the full forward standing Milburn if it comes to fruition.

I can handle as much biff as anyone being a trainer, but the SOS thing still sends shivers down my spine whenever I see it

Can not see the SMOSH coaching staff having Milburn playing at full back somehow, when he plays those 5 or so games. :-? :-?

Also been a sight for sore eyes seeing big John Mazey fly around the track. Don't think he has made a visit to the trainers room during the pre season.

I know i started this SMOSH tangent on this thread but just wanted to clarify that there are 9 other teams in DIV 3 this year????

Any news from any other clubs. I havent been down main north road in a couple of weeks but i assume Salisbury still has a footy club  Very quiet from the Magpies nest.

Anyone got any interesting trial games sheduled yet? I know PNU are trying to get one with GWS =))

Yeah, I know.. SOS is the full back of the Century... ;) Ok so I wrote forward instead of back

Let me give you an idea of how well I'm doing today.

Received a Thrifty hire car confirmation and couldnt work out who it was for, so I send an email to everyone in the office without realising what I wrote...

" If you are handling customers Seaman, please action" (Seaman being the customers surname, for those playing at home)

how embarrassment

i dont know if anyone else has wrote anything about kilburn on here i can't be f***ed reading everything because quite frankly, im too good to read what you nobodies have to say.

They've picked up Charlie Molyneux from centrals, serious player, runs all day with a few games at league level. Picked up Sean Brading who played a couple years at reserves level out at centrals, did sign at Gepps X but wanted to play out at kilburn with good friend and superstar player Matthew 'SWOOPER' Taylor-McDonald another serious player with a huge engine. Also picked up Ryan McCafferty and Robert Long from Gawler Centrals. 2 blokes that are VERY handy down back. Both played A grade last season. Nick Pearce recruited from North Adelaide. Big strong fella who loves a scrap and VB cans. Clean under knees for a big fella, good kick and can ruck. Also retained key players Michael Howson & Scott Galbraith who is looking very good on the track, running hard, silky skills, best left foot in the amatuer league. The Parks' boys are hanging around for another year. Chad, Billy and Kyle. Billy probably being the pick of the litter with Chad not far behind. Kyle trys real hard and thats all that really matters isnt it? Trying hard and having fun.

Anyway, all I can say is KILBURN DIV 3 PREMIERS!!! GET AROUND KDF CRACKERS!!!! YEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! YEAR OF THE CHICKY BABY!!!

Not in the know, but seems to be a very heavy financial committment from the club. Has the club any dollars left for junior development and
is there a programe in place for the future??

Ah I'm not entirely sure on the financial situation. But most of these guys have signed for next to nothin because they are all very good mates.

If all these players are 'Serious Players' or 'Superstars' as you would say...obviously they havent signed for next to nothing. We all know what happened to Kilburn last time the money dried up!

PK12 you don't know anything. These players ARE NOT getting huge dollars but are a very close group of mates and want to play together. YES Kilburn is developing it's juniors (minimum 3 teams ths year) The juniors were never dropped off due to money, it was a serious lack of eligible players due to the SA Government dropping all immigrants and detainees in our district. Kilburn were always a top echelon football club and we are heading back that way due to an excellent appointment of Jamie Thomas as coach. His work with our young players is another reason for an influx of players, many of which have just come along for whatever is offered. That is FACT.

That's good to hear. But will all these players fit under the points cap? I presume you'd have a few carry over point players from last year or are these guys past players/juniors?
