Terrible post, Westies to smash it in! Will prob meet Vale in the GF.

Don't think Rose & Crown are a chance?

So how is turf going for you groover? Enjoying the experience?

I see your allergic to using your bat - bowled twice and LBW in 4 other digs.. shame job!

147 runs at an average of 18.4, any chance of you going to ATCO next year if they go up? Must be missing the bounce of the hard wicket and cow corner.

As for the chances of the Grand Final, I think it would be good to see the two best sides in the GF this year... unlike last year..

Whats really shocking is the fact in 9 digs he was not out once and caught twice..

Now im not the smartest tool in the shed, but I believe that works out to be 75% of the time he is dismissed its because he fails to put bat on ball.

DEFEATED adel turf 7-152 from 40 overs.. john ritzema 3/34 , ryan parker 2/32, bradley woodward 1/28, neil tankard 1/12. . very well defended, Ace griguol captained very well, the players all worked hard in the field and enjoyed the very well deserved win.. we were railroaded to use a 4 piece ball on our home hardwicket to please adel turf. the lunch was excellent with a can of drink and the cordial had ice in it.... well hosted by craigmore cc.... a good day was had.......seniors won, but not sure on the exact margin we made 9/192 keylock 36, d jenner 28 , raed 25 , fenwick 17..... they needed 25 from last 2 overs, 4 wickets in hand..... then i heard we won.... that is all i know...

Very Bright future for CUCC

Yes their bowling stocks look quite good but have really struggled with the willow this season. After seeing them first hand the past couple of seasons i always thought the Units bowling & fielding would be either on par or better than some sides in Div 1.

Agreed, they need a few to stand up with the bat, bags is still there best with bat which is a problem. The young blokes need to start delivering with bat every week and they will be a good div1 side if they get to stay up.

I agree, way way too inconsistent, maybe 1 great game every 4, which unfortunately wont cut it against SW/R&C/AV. Leo and Natsias are far from the players they once were.

At the moment they are 3rd on wickets taken and 2nd on runs scored against, on stats they are the the second best bowling side behind Salisbury West.

I'd say those stats are irrelevant.... Maybe they've had more second inning trundles than other sides...who knows ? Risky to base that assessment on stats.

Just playing devils advocate.

Woodward is a dangerous bowler, D. Ritzema is also a clever bowler, but the rest lack any real venom or variance. No disrespect to them, I rate their fielding extremely highly, but I dont think they match up to the bowling of say SW (Davies, McInnes, McIntyre, Ozolins, Wellington) or R&C (Kent, Figallo, Figallo, D. Jenner, Bedgegood, Stamatovich) also think VIR (Leo, Natsias, Seccafien) have the potential to be a more damaging attack as well as OTH (Scott, Smith, Bishop, Hanisch)

So I would rank their attack 5th behind those 4 and ahead of AV based on them having a more shared attack.

Ah yes, well played :D

I guess thats the luxury of finishing higher through hard work during the year. Although from memory, SW got very unlucky by not finishing a game when everyone else did. Things could have been so different.

Haha... Terry Jeffries more interested in pints of Pale at our bar than finishing the game. The match on our small ground continued as we packed up the mats on our ground

Wow. Your rating Virginias bowling attack better then Central Uniteds? You've got C. Figallo
And D. Jenner as bowlers but not Picton, bedgegood and no Johnny ritzema. I would have Stevie ritz before Alex Leo as a bowler and fielder.
