Best in SAAFL????

That I have seen. I do believe he could play division 1. Have seen enough of Division one to make a call I think. He was able to dull the effect of cahill lastyear and also kept a now St Kilda Rookie in Cam Shenton quite a few seasons back(may have even been 2010??). His alround ability is unreal. He was invited to trial with the Port Magpies last year but couldn't adapt to the use of Burley Footballs when he needed to.

Just belted some PNU blokes in a Grand Final on Norwood Oval about 6 years ago.

I think FC has some more finer details of the day's events ;)

If he gets anything above a yellow card then he should be out and never to return

Well not on his own, he had quite a bit of help

That said, if the league feel he's done his time for his crime, then so be it.

No point in whinging on here about it.

Good luck to him.

Heard him at the SW footy club last night talking about it, League must have deemed his coaching and contribution to the game in his forced rest has earnt him a second chance. Is a really nice guy, must just be when he crosses the white line....

Good luck to him, for his and SW's sake I hope he stays clean and has a good year.

Whatever he did in that Grand Final he must have still had a bit left in him. Played country footy for a couple years and couldn't help himself belting players. Always targeted the young smaller kids. Gee, that's brave

I was told the same thing by Andy Stewart(Ex CU Coach). Apparently this bloke nailed his son with an elbow. I don't mind Snipers. I might have to pay special attention to him

Get you facts right mate, Matty Stewart copped one from a trial match against Gumeracha, Tyson has never played for Gumeracha.
Tyson is no sniper.

If the stories right it was cos they were getting beaten by 10 plus goals FC correct? So 3 guys couldn't celebrate their GF win for PNU becuase they were hospital bound? If its the same Creek I'm thinking of - used to wear #2 - he shouldn't be playing footy anywhere. Nothing wrong with playing hard, agrresive footy. But there is a problem with using footy an excuse to belt people, which is all he did.

If he's cleaned up his act good on him, but he should be doing it from the other side of the fence. Too many indiscretions.

Not that I particularly wish he re-hash over the days events - and to be honest much of the day is a blur to me.

the beltings were not a result of them being behind, as the first hit on Zanks happened within the first 3 minutes of the game.- broken eyesocket.

Then Louie Martin came off with blood pissing out of his head, they'd hit a vein or something, and I couldnt stop the bleeding, ambo's had to be called.

Then Bill Kollias was knocked out, then Andy Lee.

Then Macca came off with a cut to his head.

and somewhere in there Ryan Bartsch had his jaw broken.

At quarter time we were going to the huddle and two of our spectator bought over James Kollias who had been hit behind play after the siren and that was all in the first quarter...so we can squash that rumor.

Wristwatcher can probably give a more accurate version of events.

A lot of people do get Tyson mixed up with his brother Jason though.

It was easily the most shocking and gutless series of incidents I'd ever seen played out on a football field. If Sals West are serious about cleaning up their act, such players as the ones being mentioned should never be allowed to play for the club again.
