I saw a bloke last night with some connections to Gum and he said that the numbers at training have been very low with alot of the locals not very happy with some leaving some just not playing and they can not get some locals to return to the club because they are offering them less money than these recruits and these recruits are not to the same standard as these locals. Interesting times ahead at Gum, will thommo see out the season?

Would Hanna be the local not returning because of not enough coin? Heard he was offered $400 a game but has knocked it back because others are on more and he belives he is a better player i tend to agree with him too.

How many points do they have. heard a couple of days ago they signed the 3 Creek lads, although Jason would be 0 points, Johnson from virginia, Pryor from Ardrossan and Damien Victor from I think Ingle Farm

Pryor from ardrossan? Must b topping up their b-grade too then surely he isn't a recruit??

I guess it's bound to happen that Premiership teams are going to be targeted for recruits, it's just a shame that some of the locals who have been there for so long aren't going to hang around and try and continue winning premierships after all their hard work. Winning Back to Back Premierships is extremely hard as most teams suffer from Premiership hangovers, so it seems that Echunga will have their work cut out for them.

I guess it's bound to happen that Premiership teams are going to be targeted for recruits, it's just a shame that some of the locals who have been there for so long aren't going to hang around and try and continue winning premierships after all their hard work. Winning Back to Back Premierships is extremely hard as most teams suffer from Premiership hangovers, so it seems that Echunga will have their work cut out for them.

I think you will find it came from the players themselves on their facebook site.

They are in Darwin so presumably they haven't signed any paperwork as yet. Probably haven't even spoken to the coach yet!
