SAF were taking the mickey out of Sri Lanka in their one day series.

Take out Dilshan, Jayawardana and Malinga and the rest would be lucky to get a game a state level in Aus.

Angelo Mathews is a poor mans John Davison! lol

Take it you dont rate the worlds best Keeper/Batsman?
Herath is more than handy aswell

Sorry did forget about Sangakarra, Herath is handy but not playing tonight.

Very very very overrated side imho.

Does have a few ordinary players. Probably 5 or 6 quality and the rest are average.
Mind you i dont think the Indians are much chop either for world champs.

INDIA 1/67 of 14 overs chasing the 234

Tendulkar on 30 odd
Kohli on 20 odd

Both looking awesome, watch one of them get out now.

Good catch by Dilshan to get rid of Sharma 3/100 odd.

Reckon you are safe.
Only need 30 from 9 overs, still 4 wickets left

Like to think so but their tail are more than capable of stuffing this up. Jadeja and Ashwin both should do this in singles without risk really.

SL need to bring another fielder or two up to put some pressure on the Indians.

India in a canter really, nearly self destructed but thought that was due to them trying to up the rate and go for the bonus point, other than that they never looked like losing.

Kohli out injured is going to kill them, he looks the real class act in their batting line up, and is performing on Aussie decks.

Sri Lanka may win a game or two in Adelaide and Sydney but that will be about it.

Not a bad first hit in Australia for the Lankans, they will get better. India wont improve much, the loss of Kohli will hurt. The Lankans bowling isnt great so the big guns in the batting line up will need to step up and get the score up to 260+

The only problem with the Lankans batting is its all very similar, Jayawardana, Dilshan, Sangakarra are all very good batters but they lack the power hitting on the bigger grounds, especially at the end of their innings. Their tail is very long as well.

Their fielding apart from Dilshan and Sangakarra is pretty ordinary especially when compared to the Aussies and Indians
