Looking likely that 4 sides from the Atlantic div will make playoffs.
Only 2 months to go and the Islanders look the only one out of contention.

Gee what's wrong the Hawks at the moment.
No danger of dropping out of the playoffs but their away form is terrible lately.

Jim,the Isles are only 9 points off the playoffs with games in hand over most of the others and are 6-2-2 in the last 10.
A long shot I know but what chance of all 5 Atlantic teams making the playoffs.

Wonder if that's ever been done before?

Hasnt hapened in the modern era since they changed the playoff format.
Can recall it happening in the early 80's, back then it wasnt divided into east/west just 4 leagues each with 5 teams. The top ranked 16 sides made playoffs. All 5 from one league made it through, think it was called the Adams league for memory.
Used to be a bit of a running joke, the sides played 80 odd regulat season games to eliminate 4 sides

16 teams out of 20 make the playoffs-bit silly back then but I like it now with 16 from 30.

Keeps it interesting right up until the last few days.

Not shocking at all. The bruins are a hot and cold team. They were pure crud today. I am glad I missed the game yet reports were the same the D was watching the players not the puck.

May be hot and cold but i cant remember the last time the Bruins conceded 6. Not very often they go scoreless either. Feel sorry for their next opponent

They are Missing Horton which is not helping and Krejci was dropped to the 3rd line. Should be interesting to see what happens.
