It was pleasing to see just over 40 blokes on the track at Langhorne Creek for their first session of 2012 last night.

Pratty on the move will hurt the Tigers but im sure Lewy and the men down at Tiger Land will be around the mark this coming season!

Pre-season started for us last night. Solid numbers on the track, had the under 17s on the track with us as usual in pre season and had over 50 out. Long way til the start of the season but was great to be runnin around on the hill again!

Fromm and Maxfield off to Mt Barker. I thought Cheetham was heading there too or is he staying at Mt Compass now?

So rumour has it Yankalilla have recruited 2 or 3 young guys from Echunga in the Hills Country league!!!

Surely they wouldn't waste points on players like these guys? With the loss of Pratt they would need to recruit a very good player to replace him which would cost 3 points and with the carry over of a few of the other recruits it wouldn't leave them with many points, why waste it on a couple of young guys from a lower standard league?

Have they actually kept Wilson and the Durdin brothers???
Alex???

Just seen a copy of the draw for this year (draft copy), still isn't up on league website yet.
A quick summary
Rnd 1
mypo v yank sun april 1st
rest play april 14th
e.bay v mclaren
will v creek$
mt comp v goolwa
strath v victor (rnd 1 again 3 years straight)
Other highlights
Rnd 3 Anzac Day Game 25th april wed strath v creek rest of comp play 28th
Rnd 5 Creek v Mt Comp (night game)
Rnd 6 E.Bay V Mt.Comp (night game)
Finals: Qualify; Mt Comp, Elim; Mclaren; 2nd Semi Victor; 1st semi;Creek; Prelim; Strath;

Cant see too many troubles with the draw seems that it is home one week away the next which makes it easy to follow.

Did scott welsh play last year at woodville west torrens or the year before? Remember him being injured for a long time. Will be a very handy pickup if fit. The league hasn't really got any good goal kicking full forwards this year after losing ben warren and the year before yanks dundovic. Will be exciting to see especially if encounter bay can get the ball fwd of centre this year.
