In fact, it just tells me your loaded and your place would be a good one to burgle 'coz your new Prado is worth $70k and your supporting a family of 27.

Haha, that's a good one. I agree Booney, I hate those stupid stickers.

Bad editing in books:
Where a fact is in contradiction with other facts a few paragraphs earlier.
Getting dates and scores wrong in sports books.
Bad grammar.

I often wonder how some of these so obvious mistakes can make it all the way to being published. Perhaps deadline pressures?

But apart from all that, was Rucci's book still worth reading?

One thing that really annoys me at the moment is the fact that twitter/facebook are valid sources of news these days.

Enterainment news. Sports news. Even things like Gang wars "So and so posted on twitter/facebook that he is a legend...".

Bloody easy to be a journalist these days. Just trawl facebook & twitter and regurgitate.

Also - WTF is the deal with the twitter feeds on the bottom of shows like My Restaurant Rules etc. So manufactured.

Agreed!!

Journos of old would be mortified at the lack of effort they have to put in these days. What's worse is there is no way to prove the "facts" stated in these mediums so why would they take them as gospel?

Working your ass of at work to earn a full time contract with a 3 month trial period last week.

Then going swimming at my work place in my own time, as lifeguarding is part of my role and swimming isnt my strongest point so im trying to really improve. I dislocate my shoulder for the 3rd time in 2 years.

Rotator cuff is screwed having to book in for a reconstruction in the next month. There goes my chance of staying on full time after the 3 months.

Have worked so hard to get my promotion and with 2 little kids and a family here come the tough times again.

F**k my shoulder, all this because i tried and saved a single in a cricket game last year which we were winning comfortably and now my shoulder is f**ked.

Thats nasty mate, shite way to give it its first wash.

About 12 months or so ago I spent several hours washing and polishing my Falcon, polished the chrome, detailed the interior and less than 5 minutes out on the road and a dirty great big bird turd walloped onto the bonnet splashin up the the windscreen. It sucks.

Having a slipped disc in my back that won't settle down after nearly 2 months ... even having a physio for a better half hasn't managed to sort it out.
