Didn't think anyone would post on this subject.
Just a rumour I heard the other day and the amount of money I heard was staggering !!!!
It will be interesting to see how the Roo's travel in 2012 as they have lost a few good players and not picked any up if this rumour is true with also Appleton staying at the Bays.

I think you will find that the Bays wont clear Appleton to Roopena and it looks as if he is going to the SGL on very good money for a year.

Word is that Phil Smith has had an Induction with Transpacific and looks set to play for the Roo's in Season 2012 thanks to the coach getting him a job.
