Is that why he asked the umpires last night on the fall of Kholi's wicket what he has to do to get an extra 30 mins and then proceeded to set attacking fields so he could try and finish it off last night??
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Yeah Good call  All he needed was about another 500 runs

So, he WASN'T a huge let-down? Ask the Indian management then....& then get the general consensus of opinion from amongst the commentators......typical bloody port supporter.....I won't even afford you a capital letter........

If Sehwag controlled his urge to slog he wouldn't make any runs.
Marsh could have been player of the series if he used a better technique.

How much money would CA lost this series?
The Sydney test over within 4 days
The Perth test over within 3 days
The Adelaide test went into the 5th day but because it started on a Tues, there was hardly anyone there Tues & Wed then free entry today.

Series was nothing short of boring and a massive anti climax.

The crowds were extremely deceptive on TV ... I went for a look this morning and everyone in the outer were crammed into the Chappell stands and hardly anyone on either hill.

Plus the fact that a few of the members are out the back and the figures can start to be believable.

In the end, surprisingly a very good turnout for the Test.

It was the highest ever India vs Australia Test attendance in Adelaide.

Note that only 21,111 came to the entire match in 1967/68, and only 53,000 when Bradman played in 1947/48.

Sorry MP. I was being lazy and the poor formatting of LD does make it look like you were saying it. I wonder if LD is Shaun or a close relative? The only way it makes sense in defending him.

Massively dissapointing for India, but they'll stay in the top 2 due to the amount of home series they have coming up against NZ, West Indies, South Africa and Australia I think it is.

Still from this series they showed alot of things.

Firstly that Laxman is indeed the King of Flat track bullies, he will go back to India and hit 300 against NZ. Still his time has come as well as it might for Dravid. But you know they'll still be there in my opinion when Australia tours India next.

Secondly, I thought Kholi was a dud early on but he really showed he has what it takes to be in there middle order. I would expect to see him around 3 or 4 in years to come for india. There backup wicket keeper showed a bit of grit.

Ashwin will be a good alround cricketer for them, that is of course if they stick with him!

Pace wise Khan was never fit, but he did bowl some really good spells of bowling. Sharma has all the talent in the world, just no heart and Yadav gave plenty but is still raw.

Still on India they will face a massive delima soon. Khan, Tendulkar, Dravid, Laxman and probably Sehwag will be on the way out and possible gone. This will be a massive job in replacing those players. I know Kholi has come into the team but then there is R. Sharma who they didnt even give a chance to. So really I think there will be some lean times a head of India.
Read my reply. It is directed at you because you have double standards
