About a month ago I recieved a gas bill (a very high one) which was addressed to me but for a service address in Victoria.

I promptly rang and advised them that they have stuffed up and sent me someone elses bill.

I was assured that it was a technical glitch and my account, Mr Ashley ......... was merged with a Victorian account, Mr A .......... (Same last name) and it would be sorted out immediately and not to worry.

I got home yesterday and recieved a disconnection notice for the house in Victoria and that I had 7 days to pay or face disconnection.

I rang again (this time asking for a supervisor straight away) and advised of the situation.

They again admitted it was their fault but;

They now want me to prove when I bought my house in Adelaide and also prove that I do not own the house in Victoria.

i also got a message on my phone saying i havent paid.

We're gradually turning into a country without a culture, because heaven forbid someone say something remotely negative about a person from another country.

Sure, there is a small percentage of the population that this might apply to, much like the small groups of people in all cultures that give them a bad name due to there extremist views. The majority, however, I'm sure are peaceful, law-abiding, open-minded people willing to embrace other people into Australia, much like the majority of people in all other countries.

Eleven is now on its third screening of the Brady Bunch episodes,as well as Roseanne, and always gets to the same point in Happy Days before going back to the start again - around season 8.

Given Ted McGinley has been in the cast for about a year at this point, and Joanie and Chachi were primary cast members, I'm prepared to overlook that last one, though
