yeah i have to work every Sunday especially considering i will hopefully need to get 2 whole weekends of for cricket finals, plus i get every Centrals game off including all the SANFL finals series on Sundays.

i dont mind its a good chance for the young lads at our club to have a bit of fun with no pressure, and just have a laugh.

i heard Ray Smith bowled pretty sharpe on the Sunday.

Yeah he did, got pretty fired up aswell, I missed the commotion though.

If he gets that fired up by someone saying if ya charge you have to hit it, merlin and bob will have a field day with him in grade 1...for the record Brenton smashed through cover 2nd ball and then he bowled to short...but yes sharp

Our B C and D graders that mainly filled our side up thought he was sharp to, thought he might of slowed it down a bit for them?

that is a smashing OTH's copped it in div 6 also ttg ended with 345 from 40 overs then they bowled OTH's out for 92 peter sleep made 157 man can the old fella bat....seems to be a lot of beltings in all grades lately....

Do we have a Grade 6?

I think TTG, Dublin, Tigers and anyone else who only has one side should have a seperate comp, Grade 6 is a blight on the PDCA.

true LM i just cant see what guys get out of knowing every game they play they will smash the opposition whats the point??? whats going to happen when TTG win this years div 6 flag where will they go as they only wanna play 1 dayers??? will the PDCA say you must now play where we put you i doubt it but i could be wrong....

The delegates make the rules, obviously things need to be looked at, it was happening in the mid 90's when they last trialled a one day comp, Sth Gawler fielded their strongest team where others treated it as a D grade, it was their perogative to play it how they wanted to, no rules were broken.

A Grade sides should not be allowed to play in a one day comp, that should be the motion

If it's good enough for Wasleys then it's good enough for everyone IMHO :D

Pretty hard to gauge just yet mate, it's a marathon not a sprint.

Angle Vale got off to a flyer and have fizzled, Virginia has done the opposite. I think the PDCA has been a winner so far as most grades are relatively even and finals are in grabbing distance for most.
